⁵¹ And Jesus said to him, ^(A)“What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, ^(B)“Rabbi, let me recover my sight.”

^41 (A)“What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” ⁴² And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; ^(B)your faith has ^(C)made you well.” ⁴³ And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, ^(D)glorifying God. And ^(E)all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

³⁶ And he said to them, ^(A)“What do you want me to do for you?”

Ask, and It Will Be Given

^7 (A)“Ask, ^(B)and it will be given to you; ^(C)seek, and you will find; ^(D)knock, and it will be opened to you.

Solomon Prays for Wisdom

^7 (A)In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask what I shall give you.”

^6 (A)do not be anxious about anything, ^(B)but in everything by prayer and supplication ^(C)with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

⁸ Do not be like them, ^(A)for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
