A Blind Man Receives His Sight(A)

35 (B)Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. 36 And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. 37 So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38 And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, (C)Son of David, have mercy on me!”

39 Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

40 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, 41 saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”

42 Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; (D)your faith has made you well.” 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, (E)glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

19 Then Jesus entered and passed through (F)Jericho.

Two Blind Men Receive Their Sight(A)

29 (B)Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him. 30 And behold, (C)two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, (D)Son of David!”

31 Then the multitude (E)warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

33 They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.” 34 So Jesus had (F)compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
