^28 (A)Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.”

²⁹ So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother ^[a]or wife or children or ^[b]lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, ^30 (B)who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with ^(C)persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. ^31 (D)But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

⁴ But God, ^(A)who is rich in mercy, because of His ^(B)great love with which He loved us, ^5 (C)even when we were dead in trespasses, ^(D)made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), ⁶ and raised us up together, and made us sit together ^(E)in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, ⁷ that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in ^(F)His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ^8 (G)For by grace you have been saved ^(H)through faith, and that not of yourselves; ^(I)it is the gift of God, ⁹ not of ^(J)works, lest anyone should ^(K)boast. ¹⁰ For we are ^(L)His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
