23 Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were perplexed at these words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how hard it is[a] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 They were greatly astounded and said to one another,[b] “Then who can be saved?” 27 Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
28 Peter began to say to him, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.” 29 Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields, for my sake and for the sake of the good news,[c] 30 who will not receive a hundredfold now in this age—houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields, with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.”
A Third Time Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection
32 They were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead of them; they were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them what was to happen to him,

23 Gesù, guardatosi attorno, disse ai suoi discepoli: «Quanto difficilmente coloro che hanno delle ricchezze entreranno nel regno di Dio!» 24 I discepoli si stupirono di queste sue parole. E Gesù replicò loro: «Figlioli, quanto è difficile [per quelli che confidano nelle ricchezze] entrare nel regno di Dio! 25 È più facile per un cammello passare attraverso la cruna di un ago, che per un ricco entrare nel regno di Dio». 26 Ed essi, sempre più stupiti, dicevano tra di loro: «Chi dunque può essere salvato?» 27 [Ma] Gesù fissò lo sguardo su di loro e disse: «Agli uomini è impossibile, ma non a Dio; perché ogni cosa è possibile a Dio».
28 (A)Pietro gli disse: «Ecco, noi abbiamo lasciato ogni cosa e ti abbiamo seguito». 29 Gesù [, rispondendo,] disse: «In verità vi dico che non vi è nessuno che abbia lasciato casa, o fratelli, o sorelle, o madre, [o moglie,] o padre, o figli, o campi, a causa mia e a causa del vangelo[a], 30 il quale ora, in questo tempo, non ne riceva cento volte tanto: case, fratelli, sorelle, madri, figli, campi, insieme a persecuzioni e, nel secolo a venire, la vita eterna. 31 Ma molti primi saranno ultimi e gli ultimi, primi».

24 Die Jünger aber erstaunten über seine Worte. Da begann Jesus wiederum und sprach zu ihnen: Kinder, wie schwer ist es für die, welche ihr Vertrauen auf Reichtum setzen, in das Reich Gottes hineinzukommen!
25 Es ist leichter, dass ein Kamel durch das Nadelöhr geht, als dass ein Reicher in das Reich Gottes hineinkommt.
26 Sie aber entsetzten sich sehr und sprachen untereinander: Wer kann dann überhaupt errettet werden?
27 Jesus aber blickte sie an und sprach: Bei den Menschen ist es unmöglich, aber nicht bei Gott! Denn bei Gott sind alle Dinge möglich.
Vom Lohn der Nachfolge
28 Da begann Petrus und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, wir haben alles verlassen und sind dir nachgefolgt!
29 Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Es ist niemand, der Haus oder Brüder oder Schwestern oder Vater oder Mutter oder Frau oder Kinder oder Äcker verlassen hat um meinetwillen und um des Evangeliums willen,
30 der nicht hundertfältig empfängt, jetzt in dieser Zeit Häuser und Brüder und Schwestern und Mütter und Kinder und Äcker unter Verfolgungen, und in der zukünftigen Weltzeit ewiges Leben.
31 Aber viele von den Ersten werden Letzte sein und die Letzten Erste.

24 A tanítványok nagyon megdöbbentek ezen. Ő azonban megerősítette: „Gyermekeim, látjátok, milyen nehéz bemenni Isten Királyságába! 25 Még egy tevének is könnyebb átmenni a varrótű fokán, mint egy gazdagnak bejutni Isten Királyságába.”

24 Cette parole les surprit, mais Jésus insista : Oui, mes enfants, qu’il est difficile[a] d’entrer dans le royaume de Dieu. 25 Il est plus facile à un chameau de passer par le trou d’une aiguille qu’à un riche d’entrer dans le royaume de Dieu !
26 Les disciples furent encore plus étonnés, et ils se demandaient entre eux : Mais alors, qui peut être sauvé ?
27 Jésus les regarda et leur dit : Aux hommes c’est impossible, mais non à Dieu. Car tout est possible à Dieu.
28 Alors Pierre lui dit : Nous, nous avons tout quitté pour te suivre.
Jésus répondit : 29 Vraiment, je vous l’assure : si quelqu’un quitte, à cause de moi et de l’Evangile, sa maison, ses frères, ses sœurs, sa mère, son père, ses enfants ou ses terres, 30 il recevra cent fois plus dès à présent : des maisons, des frères, des sœurs, des mères, des enfants, des terres, avec des persécutions ; et, dans le monde à venir, la vie éternelle. 31 Mais beaucoup de ceux qui sont maintenant les premiers seront parmi les derniers, et beaucoup de ceux qui sont maintenant les derniers seront parmi les premiers.
