¹⁴ When Jesus saw it, he was indignant^(A) and said to them, “Let the little children come to me.^(B) Don’t stop^(C) them, because the kingdom of God^(D) belongs to such as these. ¹⁵ Truly I tell you,^(E) whoever does not receive^[a](F) the kingdom of God like a little child^(G) will never enter it.” ¹⁶ After taking them in his arms, he laid his hands on^(H) them and blessed^(I) them.
