44 telling him, ‘See that you say nothing to anyone;(A) but go and show(B) yourself to the priest,(C) and offer(D) what Moses commanded for your cleansing,(E) as a testimony(F) to them.’[a] 45 Yet he went out and began to proclaim(G) it widely and to spread the news,(H) with the result that Jesus could no longer enter a town openly. But he was out in deserted places, and they came to him from everywhere.

44 “See that you don’t tell this to anyone.(A) But go, show yourself to the priest(B) and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing,(C) as a testimony to them.” 45 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places.(D) Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.(E)

45 (B)However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; (C)and they came to Him from every direction.
