¹¹ And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son,^(A) whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”^(B)

The Servant of the Lord

⁷ Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud:^(A) “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”^(B)

¹⁷ And a voice from heaven^(A) said, “This is my Son,^(B) whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”^(C)

⁷ I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

¹⁷ He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”^{[a](A) 18} We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.^(B)

¹³ For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness^(A) and brought us into the kingdom^(B) of the Son he loves,^(C)

⁴ and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power^[a](A) by his resurrection from the dead:^(B) Jesus Christ our Lord.^(C)

²⁸ Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from heaven,^(A) “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” ²⁹ The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

³⁰ Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit,^(B) not mine.
