11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us (A)eternal life, and (B)this life is in his Son.12 (C)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
31 (A)but these are written so that you may (B)believe that Jesus is the Christ, (C)the Son of God, and that by believing (D)you may have life (E)in his name.
5 He was still speaking when, behold, (A)a bright cloud overshadowed them, and (B)a voice from the cloud said, (C)“This is my beloved Son,[a] with whom I am well pleased; (D)listen to him.”
2 (A)just as those who (B)from the beginning were (C)eyewitnesses and (D)ministers of (E)the word (F)have delivered them to us,3 it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write (G)an orderly account for you, (H)most excellent (I)Theophilus,
1 (A)That which was (B)from the beginning, (C)which we have heard, (D)which we have seen with our eyes, (E)which we looked upon and (F)have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—2 (G)the life (H)was made manifest, and we have seen it, and (I)testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, (J)which was with the Father and (K)was made manifest to us—3 (L)that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed (M)our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1 Long ago, at many times and (A)in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,2 but (B)in these last days (C)he has spoken to us by (D)his Son, whom he appointed (E)the heir of all things, (F)through whom also he created (G)the world.
3 For (A)God has done what the law, (B)weakened by the flesh, (C)could not do. (D)By sending his own Son (E)in the likeness of sinful flesh and (F)for sin,[a] he condemned sin in the flesh,
1 Paul, (A)a servant[a] of Christ Jesus, (B)called to be an apostle, (C)set apart for the gospel of God,2 which (D)he promised beforehand (E)through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,3 concerning his Son, (F)who was descended from David[b](G)according to the flesh4 and (H)was declared to be the Son of God (I)in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
14 And (A)the Word (B)became flesh and (C)dwelt among us, (D)and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son[a] from the Father, full of (E)grace and (F)truth.
10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all (A)the people.11 For (B)unto you is born this day in (C)the city of David (D)a Savior, who is (E)Christ (F)the Lord.
35 And the angel answered her, (A)“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of (B)the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born[a] will be called (C)holy—(D)the Son of God.
1 In the first book, O (A)Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began (B)to do and teach,2 until the day when (C)he was taken up, after he (D)had given commands (E)through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.
