31 because he was teaching his disciples, “The Son of Man will be betrayed into human hands. They will kill him, but after being dead for three days he will be raised.” 32 They didn’t understand what this statement meant, and they were afraid to ask him.

31 because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man(A) is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him,(B) and after three days(C) he will rise.”(D) 32 But they did not understand what he meant(E) and were afraid to ask him about it.
33 They came to Capernaum.(F) When he was in the house,(G) he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?”
