31 Then(A) he began to teach them that it was necessary for the Son of Man(B) to suffer many things and be rejected(C) by the elders,(D) chief priests, and scribes,(E) be killed, and rise(F) after three days.(G) 32 He spoke openly about this. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. 33 But turning around and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan!(H) You are not thinking about God’s concerns[a] but human concerns.”

33 But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!”(I) he said. “You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
