⁸Abandoning the mitzvat Hashem, you are holding to the Masoret HaBnei Adam.

⁷They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’^[a]^(A)

⁸You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”^(B)

¹³You nullify and make void the dvar Hashem by means of your Masoret you received. And you do many similar things.

¹³Thus you nullify the word of God^(A) by your tradition^(B) that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”
