The Crowd at the Seaside
7 Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed Him from Galilee and Judea 8 and Jerusalem, and Idumea, and from beyond the Jordan. And those from Tyre and Sidon, a great crowd, when they heard what great things He did, came to Him. 9 He told the disciples to have a small boat ready for Him because of the crowd, lest they should crush Him.

7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.(B) 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(C) 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.
