7 Jesus(A) departed with his disciples to the sea, and a large crowd followed from Galilee,(B) and a large crowd followed from Judea,(C) 8 Jerusalem,(D) Idumea, beyond the Jordan,(E) and around Tyre(F) and Sidon.(G) The large crowd came to him because they heard about everything he was doing. 9 Then he told his disciples to have a small boat(H) ready for him, so that the crowd wouldn’t crush him. 10 Since he had healed(I) many, all who had diseases were pressing toward him to touch(J) him. 11 Whenever the unclean(K) spirits(L) saw him, they fell down(M) before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!” (N) 12 And he would strongly warn(O) them not to make him known.(P)

A Great Crowd Follows Jesus
7 (A)Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and (B)a great crowd followed, from Galilee and Judea 8 and Jerusalem and (C)Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from around (D)Tyre and Sidon. When the great crowd heard all that he was doing, they came to him. 9 And he told his disciples to (E)have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they (F)crush him, 10 for (G)he had healed many, so that all who had (H)diseases pressed around him (I)to touch him. 11 (J)And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they (K)fell down before him and cried out, “You are (L)the Son of God.” 12 And (M)he strictly ordered them not to make him known.

7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.(B) 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(C) 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many,(D) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.(E) 11 Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”(F) 12 But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.(G)
