26 how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the showbread, (A)which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and also gave some to those who were with him?”
27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the (B)Sabbath. 28 Therefore (C)the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

26 In the days of Abiathar the high priest,(A) he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat.(B) And he also gave some to his companions.”(C)
27 Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man,(D) not man for the Sabbath.(E) 28 So the Son of Man(F) is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
