¹⁶ And when ^(A)the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they were saying to His disciples, “^(B)He is eating and drinking with tax collectors and ^[a]sinners!”

² And both the Pharisees and the scribes were grumbling, saying, “This man receives sinners and ^(A)eats with them.”

⁹ And there occurred a great outcry; and some of ^(A)the scribes of the Pharisaic party stood up and began to argue heatedly, saying, “^(B)We find nothing wrong with this man. ^(C)Suppose a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”
