The Great Commission

14 Afterward (A)he appeared (B)to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their (C)unbelief and (D)hardness of heart, because (E)they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. 15 And he said to them, (F)“Go into all the world and (G)proclaim the gospel to (H)the whole creation. 16 (I)Whoever believes and is (J)baptized (K)will be saved, but (L)whoever (M)does not believe will be condemned. 17 And (N)these signs will accompany those who believe: (O)in my name they will cast out demons; (P)they will speak in new tongues; 18 (Q)they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; (R)they will lay their hands (S)on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then the Lord Jesus, (T)after he had spoken to them, (U)was taken up into heaven and (V)sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while (W)the Lord worked with them and confirmed (X)the message (Y)by accompanying signs.]]

14 Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.(A)

15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.(B) 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.(C) 17 And these signs(D) will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;(E) they will speak in new tongues;(F) 18 they will pick up snakes(G) with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on(H) sick people, and they will get well.”

19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven(I) and he sat at the right hand of God.(J) 20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs(K) that accompanied it.

14 For (A)he himself is our peace, (B)who has made us both one and has broken down (C)in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in (D)ordinances, that he might create in himself one (E)new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might (F)reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17 And he came and (G)preached peace to you who were (H)far off and peace to those who were (I)near. 18 For (J)through him we both have (K)access in (L)one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer (M)strangers and aliens,[a] but you are (N)fellow citizens with the saints and (O)members of the household of God, 20 (P)built on the foundation of the (Q)apostles and prophets, (R)Christ Jesus himself being (S)the cornerstone, 21 (T)in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into (U)a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him (V)you also are being built together (W)into a dwelling place for God by[b] the Spirit.
