38 And (A)the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. 39 (B)And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he[a] breathed his last, he said, (C)“Truly this man was the Son[b] of God!”
40 There were also (D)women looking on (E)from a distance, among whom were (F)Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and (G)Salome.

40 Some women were watching from a distance.(D) Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joseph,[b] and Salome.(E)
