Mark 10:48-50

⁴⁸Lots of people told him crossly to be quiet. But he shouted out all the louder, “Son of David—take pity on me!”

⁴⁹Jesus came to a stop. “Call him,” he said.

So they called the blind man.

“Cheer up,” they said, “and get up. He’s calling you.”

⁵⁰He flung his cloak aside, jumped up, and came to Jesus.

Jesus saw him coming.

Mark 10:48-50

⁴⁸Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

⁴⁹Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” ⁵⁰Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.
