Mark 10:20-22

20 And he said to him, “Teacher, all these I have observed from my youth.” 21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: Go, sell all that you have, and give the proceeds[a] to the poor—and you will have treasure in heaven—and come, follow me.” 22 But he looked gloomy at the statement and[b] went away sorrowful, because he had[c] many possessions.

20 “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.”
21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor,(A) and you will have treasure in heaven.(B) Then come, follow me.”(C)
22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.
