3 Y OTRA vez entró en la sinagoga; y había allí un hombre que tenía una mano seca.
2 Y le acechaban si en sábado le sanaría, para acusarle.
3 Entonces dijo al hombre que tenía la mano seca: Levántate en medio.
4 Y les dice: ¿Es lícito hacer bien en sábado, ó hacer mal? ¿salvar la vida, ó quitarla? Mas ellos callaban.
5 Y mirándolos alrededor con enojo, condoleciéndose de la ceguedad de su corazón, dice al hombre: Extiende tu mano. Y la extendió, y su mano fué restituída sana.
6 Entonces saliendo los Fariseos, tomaron consejo con los Herodianos contra él, para matarle.
7 Mas Jesús se apartó á la mar con sus discípulos: y le siguió gran multitud de Galilea, y de Judea.
8 Y de Jerusalem, y de Idumea, y de la otra parte del Jordán. Y los de alrededor de Tiro y de Sidón, grande multitud, oyendo cuán grandes cosas hacía, vinieron á él.
9 Y dijo á sus discípulos que le estuviese siempre apercibida la barquilla, por causa del gentío, para que no le oprimiesen.
10 Porque había sanado á muchos; de manera que caían sobre él cuantos tenían plagas, por tocarle.
11 Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo: Tú eres el Hijo de Dios.
12 Mas él les reñía mucho que no le manifestasen.
13 Y subió al monte, y llamó á sí á los que él quiso; y vinieron á él.
14 Y estableció doce, para que estuviesen con él, y para enviarlos á predicar.
15 Y que tuviesen potestad de sanar enfermedades, y de echar fuera demonios:
16 A Simón, al cual puso por nombre Pedro;
17 Y á Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y á Juan hermano de Jacobo; y les apellidó Boanerges, que es, Hijos del trueno;
18 Y á Andrés, y á Felipe, y á Bartolomé, y á Mateo, y á Tomas, y á Jacobo hijo de Alfeo, y á Tadeo, y á Simón el Cananita,
19 Y á Judas Iscariote, el que le entregó. Y vinieron á casa.
20 Y agolpóse de nuevo la gente, de modo que ellos ni aun podían comer pan.
21 Y como lo oyeron los suyos, vinieron para prenderle: porque decían: Está fuera de sí.
22 Y los escribas que habían venido de Jerusalem, decían que tenía á Beelzebub, y que por el príncipe de los demonios echaba fuera los demonios.
23 Y habiéndolos llamado, les decía en parábolas: ¿Cómo puede Satanás echar fuera á Satanás?
24 Y si algún reino contra sí mismo fuere dividido, no puede permanecer el tal reino.
25 Y si alguna casa fuere dividida contra sí misma, no puede permanecer la tal casa.
26 Y si Satanás se levantare contra sí mismo, y fuere dividido, no puede permanecer; antes tiene fin.
27 Nadie puede saquear las alhajas del valiente entrando en su casa, si antes no atare al valiente y entonces saqueará su casa.
28 De cierto os digo que todos los pecados serán perdonados á los hijos de los hombres, y las blasfemias cualesquiera con que blasfemaren;
29 Mas cualquiera que blasfemare contra el Espíritu Santo, no tiene jamás perdón, mas está expuesto á eterno juicio.
30 Porque decían: Tiene espíritu inmundo.
31 Vienen después sus hermanos y su madre, y estando fuera, enviaron á él llamándole.
32 Y la gente estaba sentada alrededor de él, y le dijeron: He aquí, tu madre y tus hermanos te buscan fuera.
33 Y él les respondió, diciendo: ¿Quién es mi madre y mis hermanos?
34 Y mirando á los que estaban sentados alrededor de él, dijo: He aquí mi madre y hermanos.
35 Porque cualquiera que hiciere la voluntad de Dios, éste es mi hermano, y mi hermana, y mi madre.

3 En otra ocasión entró en la sinagoga y había allí un hombre que tenía la mano paralizada. 2 Algunos que buscaban un motivo para acusar a Jesús no le quitaban la vista de encima para ver si sanaba al enfermo en día sábado. 3 Entonces Jesús dijo al hombre de la mano paralizada:
—Ponte de pie frente a todos.
4 Luego dijo a los otros:
—¿Qué está permitido en sábado: hacer el bien o hacer el mal?, ¿salvar una vida o matar?
Pero ellos permanecieron callados. 5 Jesús se les quedó mirando, enojado y entristecido por lo obstinados que eran,[a] y dijo al hombre:
—Extiende la mano.
Así que la extendió y la mano quedó restablecida. 6 Tan pronto como salieron los fariseos, comenzaron a tramar con los partidarios del rey Herodes cómo matar a Jesús.
La multitud sigue a Jesús(A)
7 Jesús se retiró al lago con sus discípulos, y mucha gente de Galilea y Judea lo siguió. 8 Cuando se enteraron de todo lo que hacía, acudieron también a él muchos de Jerusalén, de Idumea, del otro lado del Jordán y de las regiones de Tiro y Sidón. 9 Entonces, para evitar que la gente lo atropellara, encargó a sus discípulos que tuvieran preparada una pequeña barca; 10 pues, como había sanado a muchos, todos los que sufrían dolencias se abalanzaban sobre él para tocarlo. 11 Además, los espíritus malignos, al verlo, se postraban ante él, gritando: «¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!». 12 Pero él les ordenó terminantemente que no dijeran quién era él.
Nombramiento de los doce apóstoles(B)
13 Subió Jesús a una montaña y llamó a los que quiso, los cuales se reunieron con él. 14 Designó a doce, a quienes nombró apóstoles,[b] para que lo acompañaran y para enviarlos a predicar 15 y ejercer autoridad para expulsar demonios.
16 Estos son los doce que él nombró:
Simón (a quien llamó Pedro);
17 Santiago y su hermano Juan, hijos de Zebedeo (a quienes llamó Boanerges, que significa «Hijos del trueno»);
18 Andrés,
Felipe,
Bartolomé,
Mateo,
Tomás,
Santiago, hijo de Alfeo,
Tadeo,
Simón el Zelote
19 y Judas Iscariote, el que lo traicionó.
Jesús y Beelzebú(C)
20 Luego entró en una casa y, de nuevo, se aglomeró tanta gente que ni siquiera podían comer él y sus discípulos. 21 Cuando se enteraron sus parientes, salieron a hacerse cargo de él, porque decían: «Está fuera de sí».
22 Los maestros de la Ley que habían llegado de Jerusalén decían: «¡Está poseído por Beelzebú! Expulsa a los demonios por medio del príncipe de los demonios».
23 Entonces Jesús los llamó y les habló en parábolas: «¿Cómo puede Satanás expulsar a Satanás? 24 Si un reino está dividido contra sí mismo, ese reino no puede mantenerse en pie. 25 Y si una familia está dividida contra sí misma, esa familia no puede mantenerse en pie. 26 Igualmente, si Satanás se levanta contra sí mismo y se divide, no puede mantenerse en pie, sino que ha llegado su fin. 27 Ahora bien, nadie puede entrar en la casa de alguien fuerte y arrebatarle sus bienes a menos que primero lo ate. Solo entonces podrá robar su casa. 28 Les aseguro que todos los pecados y blasfemias se les perdonarán a todos por igual, 29 excepto a quien blasfeme contra el Espíritu Santo. Este no tendrá perdón jamás; es culpable de un pecado eterno».
30 Es que ellos habían dicho: «Tiene un espíritu maligno».

31 En eso llegaron la madre y los hermanos de Jesús. Se quedaron afuera y enviaron a alguien a llamarlo, 32 pues había mucha gente sentada alrededor de él.
—Mira, tu madre y tus hermanos[c] están afuera y te buscan —dijeron.
33 —¿Quiénes son mi madre y mis hermanos? —respondió Jesús.
34 Luego echó una mirada a los que estaban sentados alrededor de él y añadió:
—Aquí tienen a mi madre y a mis hermanos. 35 Cualquiera que hace la voluntad de Dios es mi hermano, mi hermana y mi madre.

Ang Lalaking Paralisado ang Isang Kamay(A)
3 Muling pumasok si Jesus sa sambahan ng mga Judio. May isang lalaki roon na paralisado ang isang kamay. 2 Araw ng Pamamahinga noon, kaya binantayang mabuti ng mga Pariseo si Jesus kung pagagalingin niya ang lalaking iyon, upang may maiparatang sila laban sa kanya. 3 Sinabi ni Jesus sa lalaking paralisado ang kamay, “Halika rito sa harapan.” 4 Pagkatapos, tinanong niya ang mga Pariseo, “Alin ba ang ipinapahintulot ng Kautusan sa Araw ng Pamamahinga: ang gumawa ng mabuti o ang gumawa ng masama? Ang magligtas ng buhay o ang pumatay?” Pero hindi sila sumagot. 5 Galit silang tiningnan ni Jesus, pero nalungkot din siya sa katigasan ng kanilang mga puso. Bumaling siya sa lalaki at sinabi, “Iunat mo ang iyong kamay!” Iniunat nga ng lalaki ang kanyang kamay at gumaling ito. 6 Agad na umalis ang mga Pariseo at nakipagpulong sa mga tauhan ni Haring Herodes. Pinag-usapan nila kung paano nila ipapapatay si Jesus.

7 Pumunta si Jesus at ang mga tagasunod niya sa tabi ng lawa ng Galilea. Sinundan siya ng napakaraming tao na galing sa Galilea, 8 Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, sa kabila ng Ilog ng Jordan, at sa palibot ng Tyre at Sidon. Dinayo siya ng mga tao dahil nabalitaan nila ang mga ginagawa niya. 9 Dahil sa dami ng tao, nagpahanda ng isang bangka si Jesus sa mga tagasunod niya, para may masakyan siya kung sakaling magsiksikan sa kanya ang mga tao. 10 Maraming pinagaling si Jesus, kaya dinumog siya ng lahat ng may sakit para mahawakan man lang siya. 11 Kapag nakikita siya ng mga taong sinasaniban ng masamang espiritu, lumuluhod sila sa harap niya at sumisigaw: “Ikaw ang Anak ng Dios!” 12 Pero mahigpit niya silang pinagbawalan na sabihin sa iba kung sino siya.
Pumili si Jesus ng Labindalawang Apostol(B)
13 Pagkatapos, umakyat si Jesus sa bundok at tinawag niya ang mga taong nais niyang piliin. At lumapit sila sa kanya. 14 Pumili siya ng 12 [na tinawag niyang mga apostol] upang makasama niya at suguing mangaral. 15 Binigyan niya sila ng kapangyarihang magpalayas ng masasamang espiritu. 16 [Ito ang 12 apostol na kanyang pinili:] si Simon na tinawag niyang Pedro, 17 sina Santiago at Juan na mga anak ni Zebedee (tinawag niya silang Boanerges na ang ibig sabihin ay mga anak ng kulog), 18 si Andres, si Felipe, si Bartolome, si Mateo, si Tomas, si Santiago na anak ni Alfeus, si Tadeus, si Simon na makabayan[a] 19 at si Judas Iscariote na siyang nagtraydor kay Jesus nang bandang huli.
Si Jesus at si Satanas(C)
20 Pag-uwi ni Jesus sa bahay na tinutuluyan niya, muling dumating ang napakaraming tao kaya siya at ang mga tagasunod niya ay hindi man lang nagkaroon ng panahon para kumain. 21 Nang mabalitaan ng pamilya ni Jesus ang mga ginagawa niya, siyaʼy sinundo nila, dahil sinasabi ng mga tao na nasisiraan na siya ng bait.
22 May dumating namang mga tagapagturo ng Kautusan galing sa Jerusalem, at sinabi nila, “Sinasaniban siya ni Satanas[b] na pinuno ng masasamang espiritu. At ito ang nagbibigay sa kanya ng kapangyarihang magpalayas ng masasamang espiritu.” 23 Kaya tinawag ni Jesus ang mga tao at nagsalita siya sa kanila sa pamamagitan ng paghahalintulad, “Magagawa ba ni Satanas na palayasin ang mga kampon niya? 24 Kung ang mga mamamayan ng isang kaharian ay nagkakahati-hati at nag-aaway-away, babagsak ang kahariang iyon. 25 Ganoon din ang mangyayari sa isang tahanang ang nakatira ay nag-aaway-away. 26 Kaya kung si Satanas at ang mga kampon niya ay nagkakahati-hati at nag-aaway-away, babagsak din siya at hindi na makakabangon pa.
27 “Hindi maaaring pasukin ng magnanakaw ang bahay ng malakas na tao kung hindi niya muna ito gagapusin. Ngunit kapag naigapos na niya, maaari na niyang nakawan ang bahay nito.[c]
28 “Sinasabi ko sa inyo ang totoo, lahat ng kasalanan, at anumang paglalapastangan sa Dios ay maaaring mapatawad. 29 Ngunit ang sinumang lumapastangan sa Banal na Espiritu ay hindi talaga mapapatawad. Ang ganitong kasalanan ay hindi mapapatawad magpakailanman.” 30 Sinabi iyon ni Jesus dahil sinasabi ng mga tagapagturo ng Kautusan na siya ay may masamang espiritu.

31 Samantala, dumating ang ina at mga kapatid ni Jesus. Nakatayo sila sa labas at ipinatawag nila siya. 32 Maraming tao ang nakaupo sa paligid niya. May nagsabi sa kanya, “Nasa labas po ang inyong ina at mga kapatid, at ipinapatawag kayo.” 33 Sumagot si Jesus, “Sino ang aking ina at mga kapatid?” 34 Tiningnan niya ang mga taong nakapalibot sa kanya at sinabi, “Ang mga ito ang aking ina at mga kapatid! 35 Ang sinumang sumusunod sa kalooban ng Dios ang siya kong ina at mga kapatid.”

Jesus Heals on the Sabbath
3 Another time Jesus went into the synagogue,(A) and a man with a shriveled hand was there. 2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely(B) to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath.(C) 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.”
4 Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians(D) how they might kill Jesus.(E)
Crowds Follow Jesus(F)
7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.(G) 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(H) 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many,(I) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.(J) 11 Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”(K) 12 But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.(L)
Jesus Appoints the Twelve(M)
13 Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.(N) 14 He appointed twelve[a](O) that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach 15 and to have authority to drive out demons.(P) 16 These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter),(Q) 17 James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”), 18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Jesus Accused by His Family and by Teachers of the Law(R)(S)
20 Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered,(T) so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat.(U) 21 When his family[b] heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”(V)
22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem(W) said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul!(X) By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”(Y)
23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables:(Z) “How can Satan(AA) drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.(AB) 28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”(AC)
30 He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”
31 Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived.(AD) Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. 32 A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.”
33 “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked.
34 Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
