Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang Plano sa Pagpatay kang Jesus
(Mat. 26:1-5; Luc. 22:1-2; Juan 11:45-53)
14 Duha na lang ka adlaw ug muabot na ang mga pista sa mga Judio nga gitawag ug Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel ug Pista sa Pan nga Walay Patubo. Ang mga kadagkoan sa mga pari ug ang mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan nagplano nga patyon si Jesus. Busa nangita silag pamaagi kon unsaon nila pagdakop si Jesus nga dili masayran sa mga tawo. 2 Miingon sila, “Dili lang nato kini buhaton sa panahon sa pista, kay basig magkagubot ang mga tawo.”
Gibuboan ang Ulo ni Jesus ug Pahumot

3 Sa dihang didto si Jesus sa lungsod sa Betania, samtang nagkaon siya diha sa balay ni Simon nga kanhi may ngilngig nga sakit sa panit,[a] may usa ka babaye nga miabot. May dala siyang gamayng tibod nga may sulod nga mahalon kaayo nga pahumot. Kini nga pahumot gikan sa mahumot nga tanom nga gitawag ug “nardo.” Pagduol niya kang Jesus giablihan niya ang tibod ug unya gibubo niya ang pahumot sa ulo ni Jesus. 4 Adunay mga tawo didto nga nasuko ug miingon, “Nganong giusikan man niya ang pahumot? 5 Ikabaligya unta kana sa kantidad nga balig usa ka tuig nga sweldo ug ang halin ikahatag ngadto sa mga kabos.” Ug gikasuk-an nila ang babaye. 6 Apan miingon si Jesus kanila, “Nganong ginasamok ninyo siya? Pasagdi lang ninyo siya. Maayo kining iyang gibuhat kanako. 7 Ang mga kabos kanunay ninyong ikauban ug sa bisan unsang oras nga gusto ninyo mahimo ninyo silang tabangan, apan ako dili ninyo kanunay ikauban. 8 Kining babayhana naghimo kutob sa iyang mahimo alang kanako. Gibuboan niya ug pahumot ang akong lawas isip pag-andam sa akong lubong. 9 Sa pagkatinuod, bisan asa iwali ang Maayong Balita sa tibuok kalibotan, ang iyang gibuhat kanako mahisgotan usab isip handomanan kaniya.”
Nakigsabot si Judas sa Pagtugyan kang Jesus
(Mat. 26:14-16; Luc. 22:3-6)
10 Si Judas Iscariote nga usa sa 12 ka mga apostoles miadto sa kadagkoan sa mga pari aron makigsabot sa pagtugyan kang Jesus ngadto kanila. 11 Pagkadungog sa kadagkoan sa mga pari kon unsa ang tuyo ni Judas, nalipay gayod sila ug misaad sa paghatag kaniyag kuwarta. Busa sukad niadto, nangita siya ug kahigayonan kon unsaon niya pagtugyan si Jesus kanila.
Nagsulti si Jesus nga May Magluib Kaniya

12 Miabot ang una nga adlaw sa Pista sa Pan nga Walay Patubo. Mao kini ang adlaw nga ihalad ang mga karnero nga kaonon alang sa Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel. Busa nangutana ang mga tinun-an ni Jesus kaniya, “Asa man ang imong gusto nga mag-andam kami ug panihapon sa Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel?” 13 Gisugo niya ang iyang duha ka tinun-an, “Adto kamo didto sa siyudad sa Jerusalem. Pag-abot ninyo didto may motagbo kaninyo nga tawo nga nagadala ug banga nga may tubig. Sunda ninyo siya 14 kon asa nga balay siya mosulod. Ug isulti ninyo kini sa tagbalay, ‘Nangutana ang magtutudlo kon asa ang kuwarto nga kan-an niya uban sa iyang mga tinun-an sa pagsaulog sa Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel.’ 15 Ipakita dayon niya kaninyo ang dako nga kuwarto sa itaas nga kompleto sa kagamitan ug naandam na. Didto kamo pag-andam sa atong panihapon.” 16 Nanglakaw ang duha nga iyang gisugo, ug sa pag-abot nila sa siyudad nakita nila ang tanan sumala sa giingon ni Jesus kanila. Ug giandam nila didto ang panihapon alang sa Pista.
17 Sa dihang kilomkilom na, miabot si Jesus ug ang iyang 12 ka mga apostoles. 18 Samtang nangaon sila diha sa lamisa, miingon si Jesus, “Sa pagkatinuod, sultihan ko kamo nga usa kaninyo nga kauban ko dinhi sa pagpangaon ang magluib kanako.” 19 Sa pagkadungog niadto sa mga apostoles, naguol gayod sila ug nagpuli-puli silag pangutana kaniya, “Dili ako, di ba?” 20 Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Ang magluib kanako usa kaninyong 12—ang motuslob ug pan sa yahong uban kanako. 21 Ako nga Anak sa Tawo pagapatyon sumala sa nahisulat sa Kasulatan, apan alaot ang tawo nga magluib kanako. Maayo pa kaniya nga wala siya matawo.”
Ang Kataposang Panihapon
(Mat. 26:26-30; Luc. 22:15-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-25)
22 Samtang nangaon sila, mikuha si Jesus ug pan. Gipasalamatan niya kini sa Dios ug unya gipikas-pikas. Pagkahuman gihatag niya sa iyang mga tinun-an ug miingon, “Pagkuha kamo ug kan-a, mao kini ang akong lawas.” 23 Unya mikuha siya ug ilimnon, nagpasalamat sa Dios, ug gihatag kanila. Ug silang tanan miinom. 24 Miingon si Jesus, “Mao kini ang akong dugo nga iula alang sa daghang mga tawo. Kini nagapamatuod nga may bag-o na nga kasabotan ang Dios ngadto sa mga tawo. 25 Sa pagkatinuod, dili na ako moinom pag-usab niining ilimnon nga gikan sa ubas hangtod sa adlaw nga moinom ako sa bag-o nga matang sa ilimnon didto sa gingharian sa Dios.” 26 Unya miawit sila ug mga pagdayeg sa Dios, ug pagkahuman nangadto sila sa Bukid sa mga Olibo.
Gitagna ni Jesus nga Ilimod Siya ni Pedro
(Mat. 26:31-35; Luc. 22:31-34; Juan 13:36-38)
27 Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Tanan kamo mobiya kanako, kay ang Dios naga-ingon diha sa Kasulatan, ‘Patyon ko ang magbalantay ug magkatibulaag ang mga karnero.’[b] 28 Apan human ako mabanhaw, mouna ako kaninyo didto sa Galilea.” 29 Miingon si Pedro kang Jesus, “Bisan pag silang tanan mobiya kanimo, ako dili gayod!” 30 Miingon si Jesus kaniya, “Ang tinuod, karong gabhiona, sa dili pa motuktugaok ang manok sa makaduha, ilimod mo na ako sa makatulo.” 31 Apan miinsister pa gayod si Pedro nga miingon, “Dili ko gayod ikaw ilimod bisan patyon pa nila ako uban kanimo.” Mao usab kini ang gisulti sa tanan niya nga mga tinun-an.
Nagaampo si Jesus didto sa Getsemane
(Mat. 26:36-46; Luc. 22:39-46)
32 Unya nangadto sila sa dapit nga ginganlag Getsemane. Sa pag-abot nila didto, miingon si Jesus sa iyang mga tinun-an, “Panglingkod kamo dinhi samtang mag-ampo ako.” 33 Gidala niya sila si Pedro, Santiago, ug Juan sa unahan. Naguol gayod si Jesus 34 ug miingon siya kanila, “Mora akog mamatay sa hilabihang kaguol. Pabilin kamo dinhi ug pagtukaw.” 35 Unya miadto pa gayod siya sa unahan, mihapa siya sa yuta ug nagaampo nga kon mahimo dili lang ipadangat ang pag-antos nga umaabot kaniya. 36 Nagaampo siya, “Amahan, ang tanan nga butang mahimo mo. Busa ayaw ipadangat kining umaabot nako nga pag-antos. Apan dili ang akong pagbuot ang angay matuman kondili ang imong kabubut-on.”
37 Sa pagbalik niya didto sa iyang tulo ka tinun-an naabtan niya sila nga nangatulog. Miingon siya kang Pedro, “Simon, natulog ka ba? Dili ka ba makatukaw bisan usa lang ka oras?” 38 Ug miingon siya kanila, “Pagtukaw kamo ug pag-ampo nga dili kamo madaog sa pagsulay. Buot sa inyong espiritu nga mag-ampo apan luya ang inyong lawas.”
39 Milakaw pag-usab si Jesus sa unahan, ug nagaampo sa mao gihapon nga pag-ampo. 40 Pagkahuman mibalik siya pag-usab sa iyang mga tinun-an ug naabtan gihapon niya sila nga nangatulog, kay katulgon kaayo sila. Ug wala sila masayod kon unsay ilang itubag kaniya.
41 Sa ikatulo nga pagbalik niya kanila miingon siya, “Nangatulog pa ba gihapon kamo ug nagpahulay? Husto na kana! Mao na kini ang panahon nga ako nga Anak sa Tawo itugyan ngadto sa mga makasasala. 42 Tana! Tan-awa, ania na ang tawo nga magluib kanako.”
Ang Pagdakop kang Jesus
(Mat. 26:47-56; Luc. 22:47-53; Juan 18:3-12)
43 Samtang nagsulti pa si Jesus, miabot si Judas nga usa sa dose ka mga apostoles. Uban kaniya ang daghang mga tawo nga nagdala ug mga espada ug mga bunal. Gisugo sila sa mga kadagkoan sa mga pari, mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan ug mga pangulo sa mga Judio. 44 Nakigsabot nang daan ang maluibon nga si Judas sa mga modakop kang Jesus kon unsa ang iyang buhaton nga timailhan: “Ang tawo nga akong hagkan mao ang inyong gipangita. Dakpa ninyo siya ug dad-a nga binantayan gayod ug maayo.”
45 Busa sa pag-abot ni Judas, midiretso siya ngadto kang Jesus ug miingon, “Magtutudlo!” Ug gihagkan niya siya. 46 Ug gidakop nila si Jesus. 47 Apan may usa sa mga kauban ni Jesus nga miibot sa iyang espada ug gitigbas niya ang sulugoon sa pangulong pari ug naputol ang dalunggan niini. 48 Miingon si Jesus sa mga nagdakop kaniya, “Tulisan ba ako nga kinahanglan gayod nga magdala pa kamog mga espada ug mga bunal sa pagdakop kanako? 49 Adlaw-adlaw didto ako sa templo nga nagatudlo ug didto usab kamo apan wala ninyo ako dakpa. Apan kinahanglan nga mahitabo kini aron matuman ang mga nahisulat sa Kasulatan mahitungod kanako.” 50 Unya gibiyaan siya sa iyang mga tinun-an ug nangikyas silang tanan.
51 May usa ka batan-on nga lalaki didto nga nagsunod kang Jesus. Nagtapis lang siya ug panapton. Gidakop siya sa mga sundalo, 52 ugaling nakaikyas siya ug miikyas nga hubo, kay nahawiran man nila ang iyang tapis.
Si Jesus sa Hukmanan
(Mat. 26:57-68; Luc. 22:54-55, 63-71; Juan 18:13-14, 19-24)
53 Gidala nila si Jesus sa balay sa pangulong pari. Didto nagtigom ang kadagkoan sa mga pari, ang mga pangulo sa mga Judio, ug ang mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan. 54 Misunod usab si Pedro apan layo ra siya kang Jesus. Misulod siya sa tugkaran sa balay sa pangulong pari ug milingkod uban sa mga guwardya duol sa kalayo aron mainitan. 55 Ang kadagkoan sa mga pari ug ang tanan nga miyembro sa Hukmanan sa mga Judio nangita ug mga ebidensya batok kang Jesus aron ipapatay nila siya, apan wala gayod silay nakita. 56 Daghan ang mitestigo ug mga bakak batok kaniya apan wala magkatakdo ang ilang mga gipanulti.
57 May mga tawo pa gayod didto nga mitestigo ug bakak batok kang Jesus. Miingon sila, 58 “Nadungog namo siya nga miingon, ‘Gub-on ko kining templo nga gitukod sa tawo, ug sulod sa tulo ka adlaw patindogon ko ang lain nga templo nga dili tawo ang mohimo.’ ” 59 Apan ang ilang mga gipanulti wala magkatakdo.
60 Mitindog sa tunga ang pangulong pari ug nangutana kang Jesus, “Wala ka bay itubag niining mga sumbong batok kanimo?” 61 Wala gayod motubag si Jesus. Busa gipangutana siya pag-usab sa pangulong pari. “Ikaw ba ang Cristo nga Anak sa Dalaygon nga Dios?” 62 Mitubag si Jesus kaniya, “Oo, ako, ug makita unya ninyo ako nga Anak sa Tawo nga maglingkod sa tuo sa Makagagahom nga Dios, ug makita usab ninyo ako diha sa mga panganod sa kalangitan sa ako unyang pagbalik dinhi sa kalibotan.” 63 Sa pagkadungog niadto sa pangulong pari, gigisi niya ang iyang bisti sa kasuko ug miingon, “Dili na kinahanglanon ang mga testigo! 64 Nadungog ninyo ang iyang pagpasipala sa Dios. Unsay inyong hukom? Ug gihukman nila siya nga patyon.”
65 Giluwaan si Jesus sa pipila kanila. Gitaptapan nila siya ug gisumbag. Ug miingon sila, “Tag-ana kuno kon kinsa ang misumbag kanimo?” Dayon gikuha siya sa mga guwardya ug gisigihan nilag sagpa.
Gilimod ni Pedro si Jesus
(Mat. 26:69-75; Luc. 22:56-62; Juan 18:15-18, 25-27)
66 Samtang didto pa si Pedro sa tugkaran, miagi ang usa sa mga babaye nga sulugoon sa pangulong pari. 67 Sa pagkakita niya kang Pedro nga nagpainit duol sa kalayo, gitutokan niya siya ug miingon, “Kauban ka usab ni Jesus nga taga-Nazaret.” 68 Apan milimod siya nga naga-ingon, “Wala ako masayod kon unsay imong gisulti.” Ug miadto siya sa pultahan pagawas. Niana gayod nga oras mituktugaok ang manok. 69 Didto nakita na usab siya sa sulugoon nga babaye, ug miingon siya pag-usab sa mga tawo didto, “Kining tawhana usa sa mga kauban ni Jesus.” 70 Apan milimod na usab si Pedro. Pagkataudtaod miingon ang mga tawo didto, “Kauban ka gayod niya kay taga-Galilea ka usab.” 71 Apan nanumpa gayod si Pedro nga naga-ingon, “Bisag mamatay pa ako, wala gayod ako makaila sa tawo nga inyong giingon.” 72 Unya mituk-tugaok na usab ang manok, ug nahinumdoman ni Pedro ang giingon kaniya ni Jesus, “Sa dili pa motuktugaok ang manok sa makaduha, ilimod mo na ako sa makatulo.” Ug mihilak siya pag-ayo.

14 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
2 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.
3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.
4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?
5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.
6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.
9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
10 And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.
14 And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
15 And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.
16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
17 And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.
18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?
20 And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.
21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.
29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.
30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.
32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.
41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42 Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.
43 And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him.
47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?
49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
50 And they all forsook him, and fled.
51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:
52 And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
54 And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.
56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.
57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,
58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
59 But neither so did their witness agree together.
60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.
66 And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:
67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.
69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.
70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.
71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.
72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

14 La fête de Pâque et des pains sans levain devait avoir lieu deux jours après. Les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes cherchaient les moyens d'arrêter Jésus par ruse, et de le faire mourir.
2 Car ils disaient: Que ce ne soit pas pendant la fête, afin qu'il n'y ait pas de tumulte parmi le peuple.
3 Comme Jésus était à Béthanie, dans la maison de Simon le lépreux, une femme entra, pendant qu'il se trouvait à table. Elle tenait un vase d'albâtre, qui renfermait un parfum de nard pur de grand prix; et, ayant rompu le vase, elle répandit le parfum sur la tête de Jésus.
4 Quelques-uns exprimèrent entre eux leur indignation: A quoi bon perdre ce parfum?
5 On aurait pu le vendre plus de trois cents deniers, et les donner aux pauvres. Et ils s'irritaient contre cette femme.
6 Mais Jésus dit: Laissez-la. Pourquoi lui faites-vous de la peine? Elle a fait une bonne action à mon égard;
7 car vous avez toujours les pauvres avec vous, et vous pouvez leur faire du bien quand vous voulez, mais vous ne m'avez pas toujours.
8 Elle a fait ce qu'elle a pu; elle a d'avance embaumé mon corps pour la sépulture.
9 Je vous le dis en vérité, partout où la bonne nouvelle sera prêchée, dans le monde entier, on racontera aussi en mémoire de cette femme ce qu'elle a fait.
10 Judas Iscariot, l'un des douze, alla vers les principaux sacrificateurs, afin de leur livrer Jésus.
11 Après l'avoir entendu, ils furent dans la joie, et promirent de lui donner de l'argent. Et Judas cherchait une occasion favorable pour le livrer.
12 Le premier jour des pains sans levain, où l'on immolait la Pâque, les disciples de Jésus lui dirent: Où veux-tu que nous allions te préparer la Pâque?
13 Et il envoya deux de ses disciples, et leur dit: Allez à la ville; vous rencontrerez un homme portant une cruche d'eau, suivez-le.
14 Quelque part qu'il entre, dites au maître de la maison: Le maître dit: Où est le lieu où je mangerai la Pâque avec mes disciples?
15 Et il vous montrera une grande chambre haute, meublée et toute prête: c'est là que vous nous préparerez la Pâque.
16 Les disciples partirent, arrivèrent à la ville, et trouvèrent les choses comme il le leur avait dit; et ils préparèrent la Pâque.
17 Le soir étant venu, il arriva avec les douze.
18 Pendant qu'ils étaient à table et qu'ils mangeaient, Jésus dit: Je vous le dis en vérité, l'un de vous, qui mange avec moi, me livrera.
19 Ils commencèrent à s'attrister, et à lui dire, l'un après l'autre: Est-ce moi?
20 Il leur répondit: C'est l'un des douze, qui met avec moi la main dans le plat.
21 Le Fils de l'homme s'en va selon ce qui est écrit de lui. Mais malheur à l'homme par qui le Fils de l'homme est livré! Mieux vaudrait pour cet homme qu'il ne fût pas né.
22 Pendant qu'ils mangeaient, Jésus prit du pain; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il le rompit, et le leur donna, en disant: Prenez, ceci est mon corps.
23 Il prit ensuite une coupe; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il la leur donna, et ils en burent tous.
24 Et il leur dit: Ceci est mon sang, le sang de l'alliance, qui est répandu pour plusieurs.
25 Je vous le dis en vérité, je ne boirai plus jamais du fruit de la vigne, jusqu'au jour où je le boirai nouveau dans le royaume de Dieu.
26 Après avoir chanté les cantiques, ils se rendirent à la montagne des oliviers.
27 Jésus leur dit: Vous serez tous scandalisés; car il est écrit: Je frapperai le berger, et les brebis seront dispersées.
28 Mais, après que je serai ressuscité, je vous précéderai en Galilée.
29 Pierre lui dit: Quand tous seraient scandalisés, je ne serai pas scandalisé.
30 Et Jésus lui dit: Je te le dis en vérité, toi, aujourd'hui, cette nuit même, avant que le coq chante deux fois, tu me renieras trois fois.
31 Mais Pierre reprit plus fortement: Quand il me faudrait mourir avec toi, je ne te renierai pas. Et tous dirent la même chose.
32 Ils allèrent ensuite dans un lieu appelé Gethsémané, et Jésus dit à ses disciples: Asseyez-vous ici, pendant que je prierai.
33 Il prit avec lui Pierre, Jacques et Jean, et il commença à éprouver de la frayeur et des angoisses.
34 Il leur dit: Mon âme est triste jusqu'à la mort; restez ici, et veillez.
35 Puis, ayant fait quelques pas en avant, il se jeta contre terre, et pria que, s'il était possible, cette heure s'éloignât de lui.
36 Il disait: Abba, Père, toutes choses te sont possibles, éloigne de moi cette coupe! Toutefois, non pas ce que je veux, mais ce que tu veux.
37 Et il vint vers les disciples, qu'il trouva endormis, et il dit à Pierre: Simon, tu dors! Tu n'as pu veiller une heure!
38 Veillez et priez, afin que vous ne tombiez pas en tentation; l'esprit est bien disposé, mais la chair est faible.
39 Il s'éloigna de nouveau, et fit la même prière.
40 Il revint, et les trouva encore endormis; car leurs yeux étaient appesantis. Ils ne surent que lui répondre.
41 Il revint pour la troisième fois, et leur dit: Dormez maintenant, et reposez-vous! C'est assez! L'heure est venue; voici, le Fils de l'homme est livré aux mains des pécheurs.
42 Levez-vous, allons; voici, celui qui me livre s'approche.
43 Et aussitôt, comme il parlait encore, arriva Judas l'un des douze, et avec lui une foule armée d'épées et de bâtons, envoyée par les principaux sacrificateurs, par les scribes et par les anciens.
44 Celui qui le livrait leur avait donné ce signe: Celui que je baiserai, c'est lui; saisissez-le, et emmenez-le sûrement.
45 Dès qu'il fut arrivé, il s'approcha de Jésus, disant: Rabbi! Et il le baisa.
46 Alors ces gens mirent la main sur Jésus, et le saisirent.
47 Un de ceux qui étaient là, tirant l'épée, frappa le serviteur du souverain sacrificateur, et lui emporta l'oreille.
48 Jésus, prenant la parole, leur dit: Vous êtes venus, comme après un brigand, avec des épées et des bâtons, pour vous emparer de moi.
49 J'étais tous les jours parmi vous, enseignant dans le temple, et vous ne m'avez pas saisi. Mais c'est afin que les Écritures soient accomplies.
50 Alors tous l'abandonnèrent, et prirent la fuite.
51 Un jeune homme le suivait, n'ayant sur le corps qu'un drap. On se saisit de lui;
52 mais il lâcha son vêtement, et se sauva tout nu.
53 Ils emmenèrent Jésus chez le souverain sacrificateur, où s'assemblèrent tous les principaux sacrificateurs, les anciens et les scribes.
54 Pierre le suivit de loin jusque dans l'intérieur de la cour du souverain sacrificateur; il s'assit avec les serviteurs, et il se chauffait près du feu.
55 Les principaux sacrificateurs et tout le sanhédrin cherchaient un témoignage contre Jésus, pour le faire mourir, et ils n'en trouvaient point;
56 car plusieurs rendaient de faux témoignages contre lui, mais les témoignages ne s'accordaient pas.
57 Quelques-uns se levèrent, et portèrent un faux témoignage contre lui, disant:
58 Nous l'avons entendu dire: Je détruirai ce temple fait de main d'homme, et en trois jours j'en bâtirai un autre qui ne sera pas fait de main d'homme.
59 Même sur ce point-là leur témoignage ne s'accordait pas.
60 Alors le souverain sacrificateur, se levant au milieu de l'assemblée, interrogea Jésus, et dit: Ne réponds-tu rien? Qu'est-ce que ces gens déposent contre toi?
61 Jésus garda le silence, et ne répondit rien. Le souverain sacrificateur l'interrogea de nouveau, et lui dit: Es-tu le Christ, le Fils du Dieu béni?
62 Jésus répondit: Je le suis. Et vous verrez le Fils de l'homme assis à la droite de la puissance de Dieu, et venant sur les nuées du ciel.
63 Alors le souverain sacrificateur déchira ses vêtements, et dit: Qu'avons-nous encore besoin de témoins?
64 Vous avez entendu le blasphème. Que vous en semble? Tous le condamnèrent comme méritant la mort.
65 Et quelques-uns se mirent à cracher sur lui, à lui voiler le visage et à le frapper à coups de poing, en lui disant: Devine! Et les serviteurs le reçurent en lui donnant des soufflets.
66 Pendant que Pierre était en bas dans la cour, il vint une des servantes du souverain sacrificateur.
67 Voyant Pierre qui se chauffait, elle le regarda, et lui dit: Toi aussi, tu étais avec Jésus de Nazareth.
68 Il le nia, disant: Je ne sais pas, je ne comprends pas ce que tu veux dire. Puis il sortit pour aller dans le vestibule. Et le coq chanta.
69 La servante, l'ayant vu, se mit de nouveau à dire à ceux qui étaient présents: Celui-ci est de ces gens-là. Et il le nia de nouveau.
70 Peu après, ceux qui étaient présents dirent encore à Pierre: Certainement tu es de ces gens-là, car tu es Galiléen.
71 Alors il commença à faire des imprécations et à jurer: Je ne connais pas cet homme dont vous parlez.
72 Aussitôt, pour la seconde fois, le coq chanta. Et Pierre se souvint de la parole que Jésus lui avait dite: Avant que le coq chante deux fois, tu me renieras trois fois. Et en y réfléchissant, il pleurait.
