54 Pedro le siguió de lejos hasta dentro del patio(A) del sumo sacerdote(B); estaba sentado con los alguaciles[a], calentándose al fuego[b](C). 55 Y los principales sacerdotes y todo el concilio[c](D), procuraban obtener testimonio contra Jesús para darle muerte, pero no lo hallaban. 56 Porque muchos daban falso testimonio contra Él, pero sus testimonios no coincidían[d].

54 Peter followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest.(A) There he sat with the guards and warmed himself at the fire.(B)
55 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin(C) were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find any. 56 Many testified falsely against him, but their statements did not agree.
