37 Entonces Jesús vino* y los halló* durmiendo, y dijo* a Pedro: «Simón, ¿duermes? ¿No pudiste velar ni por una hora? 38 Velen y oren para que no entren en tentación; el espíritu está dispuesto, pero la carne es débil(A)».
39 Él se fue otra vez y oró, diciendo las mismas palabras[a].

37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

37 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Simon,” he said to Peter, “are you asleep? Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour? 38 Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.(A) The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”(B)
39 Once more he went away and prayed the same thing.
