^10 (A)Have we not all one Father?
^(B)Has not one God created us?
Why do we deal treacherously with one another
By profaning the covenant of the fathers?

³ Know that the Lord, He is God;
^(A)It is He who has made us, and ^[a]not we ourselves;
^(B)We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

¹¹ Judah has dealt treacherously,
And an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem,
For Judah has ^(A)profaned
The Lord’s holy institution which He loves:
He has married the daughter of a foreign god.

^16 (A)Doubtless You are our Father,
Though Abraham ^(B)was ignorant of us,
And Israel does not acknowledge us.
You, O Lord, are our Father;
Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.

⁴ “Everyone^(A) take heed to his ^[a]neighbor,
And do not trust any brother;
For every brother will utterly supplant,
And every neighbor will ^(B)walk with slanderers.
⁵ Everyone will ^(C)deceive his neighbor,
And will not speak the truth;
They have taught their tongue to speak lies;
They weary themselves to commit iniquity.
