¹⁷ And if you call on the Father, who ^(A)without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your ^[a]stay here in fear;

¹⁸ But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, do not go to Babylon.’

^11 (A)Then Moses pleaded with ^[a]the Lord his God, and said: “Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us, ^(A)who is holy, ^[a]harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, ^(B)and has become higher than the heavens; ²⁷ who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His ^(C)own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

¹¹ For ^(A)there is no partiality with God.

³¹ Now we know that ^(A)God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

¹⁹ Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah ever put him to death? ^(A)Did he not fear the Lord and ^(B)seek the Lord’s favor? And the Lord ^(C)relented concerning the doom which He had pronounced against them. ^(D)But we are doing great evil against ourselves.”

¹⁵ And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

¹⁶ Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, ^[a]overpowered them, and prevailed against ^[b]them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Vision of the High Priest

3 Then he showed me ^(A)Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and ^(B)Satan^[a] standing at his right hand to oppose him. ² And the Lord said to Satan, ^(C)“The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who ^(D)has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! ^(E)Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
