⁵ Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, ‘Great is the Lord beyond the borders of Israel!’ ”^(A)

⁷ for it is your own eyes that have seen every great deed that the Lord did.

²³ Then turning to the disciples, Jesus^[a] said to them privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!^{(A) 24} For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”^(B)

¹⁶ you will come up against my people Israel like a cloud covering the earth. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I display my holiness before their eyes.^(A)

⁸ Therefore the wrath of the Lord came upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he has made them an object of horror, of astonishment, and of hissing, as you see with your own eyes.^(A)

¹⁶ Now, therefore, take your stand and see this great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes.^(A)
