Chúa Chữa Lành Người Bại
(Mác 2:1-12; Lu 5:17-26)
9 Ngài xuống thuyền, qua bờ bên kia, và trở về thành của Ngài. 2 Này, người ta khiêng đến Ngài một người bại, nằm trên cáng. Khi thấy đức tin của họ, Ðức Chúa Jesus nói với người bại, “Con ơi, hãy yên lòng, tội lỗi con đã được tha.”
3 Nghe vậy những thầy dạy giáo luật nói với nhau, “Người này thật lộng ngôn!”
4 Nhưng Ðức Chúa Jesus biết ý tưởng họ, Ngài nói, “Tại sao tâm trí các ngươi lại nghĩ xấu như vậy? 5 Trong hai điều này: một là nói, ‘Tội lỗi ngươi đã được tha,’ hai là nói, ‘Hãy đứng dậy và đi,’ điều nào dễ nói hơn? 6 Nhưng để cho các ngươi biết Con Người ở thế gian có quyền tha tội” –Ngài phán với người bại– “Ngươi hãy đứng dậy, vác cáng đi về nhà.”
7 Người bại liền đứng dậy và đi về nhà. 8 Ðám đông thấy vậy, họ kinh hãi và tôn vinh Ðức Chúa Trời, Ðấng ban cho loài người quyền phép như vậy.
Chúa Gọi Ma-thi-ơ
(Mác 2:13-17; Lu 5:27-32)
9 Ðức Chúa Jesus rời nơi ấy ra đi, Ngài thấy một người tên là Ma-thi-ơ đang ngồi ở trạm thu thuế. Ngài gọi ông ấy, “Hãy theo Ta.” Ông đứng dậy và đi theo Ngài.
10 Ðang khi Ngài ngồi dùng bữa trong nhà Ma-thi-ơ, này, có nhiều người thu thuế và những kẻ tội lỗi đến dùng bữa với Ðức Chúa Jesus và các môn đồ Ngài. 11 Khi những người Pha-ri-si thấy vậy, họ nói với các môn đồ Ngài, “Tại sao Thầy các anh ngồi ăn chung với bọn thu thuế và phường tội lỗi như thế?”
12 Khi nghe vậy, Ngài nói, “Không phải những người mạnh khỏe cần y sĩ, nhưng những người bịnh. 13 Hãy đi và học cho thấu ý nghĩa câu này:
‘Ta muốn lòng thương xót, chứ không muốn của lễ.’
Vì Ta đến không phải để gọi những người công chính, nhưng gọi những kẻ tội lỗi.”
Chúa Dạy về Sự Kiêng Ăn
(Mác 2:18-22; Lu 5:33-39)
14 Bấy giờ các môn đồ của Giăng đến với Ngài và hỏi, “Tại sao chúng tôi và những người Pha-ri-si đều kiêng ăn, còn các môn đồ của Thầy không kiêng ăn?”
15 Ðức Chúa Jesus trả lời họ, “Có thể nào khách đến dự tiệc cưới của chàng rể than khóc trong khi chàng rể còn ở với họ chăng? Sẽ có ngày chàng rể được đem đi, bấy giờ họ sẽ kiêng ăn. 16 Không ai vá miếng vải mới vào chiếc áo cũ, vì miếng vải mới sẽ co rút lại, chằng rách chiếc áo cũ, và chỗ rách sẽ trở nên tệ hơn. 17 Cũng không ai lấy rượu mới đổ vào bầu da cũ, vì làm như thế, bầu rượu sẽ nứt, rượu sẽ chảy ra, và bầu rượu sẽ hư; nhưng người ta đổ rượu mới vào bầu da mới, và như vậy sẽ giữ được cả hai.”
Chúa Đi Cứu Một Em Gái Sống Lại
(Mác 5:21-24; Lu 8:40-42)
18 Khi Ngài còn đang nói những điều ấy với họ, này, một người quản lý hội đường đến quỳ trước mặt Ngài và nói, “Con gái tôi vừa qua đời, kính xin Thầy đến, đặt tay trên cháu, để cháu sẽ sống lại.” 19 Ðức Chúa Jesus đứng dậy và đi theo người ấy; các môn đồ Ngài cũng đi theo.
Chúa Chữa Lành Người Ðàn Bà Bị Băng Huyết
(Mác 5:25-34; Lu 8:43-48)
20 Này, một bà bị băng huyết đã mười hai năm đến phía sau Ngài và sờ vào viền áo Ngài, 21 vì bà tự nhủ, “Nếu tôi chỉ được đụng vào áo của Ngài, ắt tôi sẽ được lành.”
22 Ðức Chúa Jesus quay lại và thấy bà, Ngài phán, “Hỡi con gái, hãy yên lòng, đức tin của con đã làm cho con được chữa lành.” Ngay giờ đó người đàn bà ấy được chữa lành.
Chúa Kêu Một Em Gái Sống Lại
(Mác 5:35-43; Lu 8:49-56)
23 Khi Ðức Chúa Jesus đến nhà người quản lý hội đường, Ngài thấy đã có phường kèn sáo tang lễ và một đám đông ồn ào vô trật tự, 24 Ngài nói, “Mọi người hãy ra về, vì đứa trẻ không chết, nhưng nó chỉ ngủ thôi.” Họ chế nhạo Ngài. 25 Sau khi đám đông đã được mời ra ngoài, Ngài vào và cầm tay đứa trẻ, đứa trẻ ngồi dậy. 26 Tin ấy được đồn ra khắp miền đó.
Chúa Chữa Lành Hai Người Mù
27 Ðức Chúa Jesus rời nơi đó ra đi; có hai người mù đi theo Ngài và kêu lớn, “Lạy Con Vua Ða-vít, xin thương xót chúng tôi.”
28 Khi Ngài vào trong nhà, hai người mù đến với Ngài. Ngài nói với họ, “Các ngươi tin Ta có thể làm được việc ấy sao?”
Họ đáp, “Lạy Chúa, đúng vậy.”
29 Ngài sờ vào mắt họ và nói, “Các ngươi tin thế nào, việc phải xảy ra cho các ngươi thế ấy.”
30 Mắt họ liền được mở ra. Ðức Chúa Jesus nghiêm dặn họ, “Hãy coi chừng, đừng để ai biết việc này.” 31 Nhưng họ đi ra và đồn rao về Ngài khắp cả xứ.
Chúa Chữa Lành Người Câm
32 Sau khi họ ra đi, này, người ta đem đến Ngài một người câm bị quỷ ám. 33 Khi quỷ bị đuổi ra, người câm nói được. Ðám đông kinh ngạc nói, “Chưa bao giờ thấy có việc như thế xảy ra trong I-sơ-ra-ên.” 34 Nhưng những người Pha-ri-si bôi bác, “Ông ấy cậy quyền của quỷ vương để trừ quỷ đó thôi.”
Thiếu Người Phục Vụ
35 Ðức Chúa Jesus đi khắp các thành và các làng, dạy dỗ trong các hội đường, rao giảng Tin Mừng của Vương Quốc, và chữa lành mọi người yếu đau và bịnh tật trong dân. 36 Thấy những đoàn dân đông đảo, Ngài động lòng thương xót họ, vì họ khốn cùng và tản lạc như chiên không có người chăn. 37 Ngài nói với các môn đồ Ngài, “Mùa gặt thật trúng, nhưng thợ gặt lại ít. 38 Vậy hãy cầu xin Chủ mùa gặt sai các thợ gặt vào cánh đồng của Ngài.”

Jesus botar en lam man
9 Jesus steg i båten och for över sjön och kom till sin egen stad.[a] 2 (A) Där kom några till honom med en förlamad man som låg på en bädd. Jesus såg deras tro och sade till den lame: "Var lugn, mitt barn. Dina synder är förlåtna."
3 Några skriftlärda tänkte inom sig: "Han hädar!" 4 Jesus såg deras tankar och sade: "Varför tänker ni så ont i era hjärtan? 5 Vad är lättast, att säga: Dina synder är förlåtna, eller att säga: Res dig och gå? 6 Men för att ni ska veta att Människosonen har makt på jorden att förlåta synder, säger jag dig" – och nu talade han till den lame: "Res dig, ta din bädd[b] och gå hem!" 7 Då reste mannen sig upp och gick hem. 8 När folket såg det, greps de av fruktan och prisade Gud som hade gett sådan makt åt människor.
Jesus kallar Matteus
9 (B) Jesus gick vidare därifrån och såg en man som hette Matteus[c] sitta vid tullhuset. Han sade till honom: "Följ mig!" Då reste sig Matteus och följde honom.
10 När Jesus sedan var gäst i hans hem, kom många tullindrivare och syndare och låg till bords tillsammans med Jesus och hans lärjungar. 11 Fariseerna fick se det och frågade hans lärjungar: "Varför äter er mästare med tullindrivare och syndare?" 12 Jesus hörde det och sade: "Det är inte de friska[d] som behöver läkare, utan de sjuka. 13 (C) Gå och lär er vad detta betyder: Jag vill se barmhärtighet och inte offer[e]. Jag har inte kommit för att kalla rättfärdiga, utan syndare."
Bröllopsgäster fastar inte
14 (D) Sedan kom Johannes lärjungar fram till honom och frågade: "Varför fastar inte dina lärjungar, när vi och fariseerna fastar?" 15 Jesus svarade dem: "Bröllopsgästerna kan väl inte sörja medan brudgummen är hos dem? Men det ska komma dagar när brudgummen tas ifrån dem, och då kommer de att fasta.
16 Ingen sätter en lapp av okrympt tyg på en gammal mantel. I så fall river lappen bort ännu mer från manteln och revan blir värre. 17 Och man häller inte nytt vin i gamla säckar.[f] I så fall sprängs säckarna och vinet rinner ut och säckarna förstörs. Nej, nytt vin häller man i nya säckar. Då bevaras både vin och säckar."
Jesus uppväcker Jairus dotter
18 (E) Medan Jesus talade till dem, kom en synagogföreståndare och föll ner för honom och sade: "Min dotter har just dött. Men kom och lägg din hand på henne, så får hon liv igen." 19 Då reste sig Jesus och följde med honom, tillsammans med sina lärjungar.
20 Plötsligt kom en kvinna som hade haft blödningar i tolv år. Hon närmade sig Jesus bakifrån och rörde vid hörntofsen[g] på hans mantel, 21 för hon tänkte: "Om jag så bara får röra vid hans mantel blir jag frisk."[h] 22 Jesus vände sig om och såg henne, och han sade: "Var lugn, min dotter. Din tro har frälst dig." Och från den stunden var kvinnan frisk.
23 (F) När Jesus kom fram till synagogföreståndarens hus och såg flöjtblåsarna och den upprörda folkskaran, 24 sade han: "Gå härifrån! Flickan är inte död. Hon sover." Då hånskrattade de åt honom. 25 Men när folket hade skickats ut gick han in och tog flickans hand, och hon reste sig. 26 Och ryktet om detta gick ut i hela det området.
Jesus botar två blinda och en stum
27 När Jesus gick vidare därifrån, följde två blinda efter honom och ropade: "Förbarma dig över oss, Davids son!" 28 Och när han hade kommit hem[i], gick de fram till honom. Jesus frågade dem: "Tror ni att jag kan göra detta?" De svarade: "Ja, Herre." 29 Då rörde han vid deras ögon och sade: "Så som ni tror ska det ske för er." 30 Och deras ögon öppnades. Jesus sade strängt till dem: "Se till att ingen får veta det." 31 Men de gick och spred ut ryktet om honom i hela det området.
32 (G) Medan de var på väg ut, kom folk till honom med en man som var besatt och stum. 33 När den onda anden var utdriven, talade den stumme. Och folket häpnade och sade: "Aldrig har man sett något sådant i Israel!" 34 (H) Men fariseerna sade: "Det är med hjälp av de onda andarnas furste som han driver ut andarna."
Som får utan herde
35 (I) Jesus gick omkring i alla städerna och byarna, och han undervisade i deras synagogor och förkunnade evangeliet om riket och botade alla slags sjukdomar och krämpor. 36 (J) När han såg folkskarorna förbarmade han sig över dem, för de var härjade och hjälplösa som får utan herde. 37 Och han sade till sina lärjungar: "Skörden är stor men arbetarna är få. 38 (K) Be därför skördens Herre att han skickar ut arbetare till sin skörd."

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(A)
9 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.(B) 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man,(C) lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith,(D) he said to the man, “Take heart,(E) son; your sins are forgiven.”(F)
3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”(G)
4 Knowing their thoughts,(H) Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man(I) has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God,(J) who had given such authority to man.
The Calling of Matthew(K)
9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,”(L) he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”(M)
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a](N) For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”(O)
Jesus Questioned About Fasting(P)
14 Then John’s(Q) disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often,(R) but your disciples do not fast?”
15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them?(S) The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.(T)
16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman(U)
18 While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him(V) and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her,(W) and she will live.” 19 Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.
20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.(X) 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart,(Y) daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.”(Z) And the woman was healed at that moment.(AA)
23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,(AB) 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead(AC) but asleep.”(AD) But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.(AE) 26 News of this spread through all that region.(AF)
Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute
27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”(AG)
28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.(AH)
29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;(AI) 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”(AJ) 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.(AK)
32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed(AL) and could not talk(AM) was brought to Jesus. 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”(AN)
34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”(AO)
The Workers Are Few
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.(AP) 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,(AQ) because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.(AR) 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest(AS) is plentiful but the workers are few.(AT) 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
