Ngụ Ngôn Về Tiệc Cưới(A)
22 Đức Giê-su lại dùng ngụ ngôn dạy họ: 2 “Nước Thiên Đàng ví như một vua kia làm tiệc cưới cho con mình. 3 Vua sai đầy tớ đi nhắc khách được mời dự tiệc nhưng họ không chịu đến.
4 Vua lại sai các đầy tớ khác và dặn: ‘Hãy thưa với khách được mời rằng tiệc đã chuẩn bị xong, bò và bê mập đã làm thịt rồi, tiệc đã sẵn sàng, xin mời đến dự.’
5 Nhưng khách không lưu ý họ cứ bỏ đi, người đi thăm ruộng, kẻ lo việc buôn bán, 6 những kẻ khác bắt đầy tớ của vua đánh đập, và giết đi. 7 Nhà vua nổi giận, sai quân lính đến hủy diệt những kẻ sát nhân và đốt phá thành phố của họ.
8 Thế rồi vua bảo các đầy tớ: ‘Tiệc cưới đã sẵn sàng nhưng khách được mời không xứng đáng dự tiệc. 9 Vậy hãy đi ra các ngã đường, mời bất cứ ai các ngươi gặp vào dự tiệc.’ 10 Đầy tớ đi ra các đường phố gặp ai cũng mời, kẻ xấu cũng như người tốt, vào ngồi đầy phòng tiệc cưới.
11 Nhưng khi vào xem khách dự tiệc, vua chợt thấy một người không mặc lễ phục.[a] 12 Vua bảo người ấy: ‘Anh kia, sao anh không mặc lễ phục mà vào đây được?’ Anh ta không trả lời được.
13 Kế đó, vua truyền bảo đầy tớ: ‘Hãy trói chân tay hắn lại, ném ra nơi tối tăm là nơi có than khóc và rên xiết.’
14 Vì nhiều người được gọi, nhưng ít người được chọn.”
Vấn Đề Đóng Thuế(B)
15 Bấy giờ những người Pha-ri-si đi ra bàn mưu làm thế nào để gài bẫy lời Đức Giê-su nói. 16 Họ sai môn đệ của mình cùng với một số người thuộc đảng Hê-rốt đến hỏi Ngài: “Thưa Thầy, chúng tôi biết Thầy là người chân thật, dạy dỗ đường lối Đức Chúa Trời một cách trung thực, không vị nể ai, vì Thầy không thiên vị người nào.[b] 17 Xin cho chúng tôi biết: ‘Thầy nghĩ thế nào? Có nên nộp thuế cho Sê-sa[c] hay không?’ ”
18 Biết ác ý của họ, Đức Giê-su bảo: “Hỡi những kẻ đạo đức giả, sao lại thử Ta? 19 Hãy đưa cho Ta xem đồng tiền đóng thuế.” Họ đem cho Ngài một đồng tiền.[d] 20 Ngài hỏi họ: “Hình và hiệu này là của ai?”
21 Chúng trả lời: “Của Sê-sa.” Ngài bèn phán: “Vậy, những gì của Sê-sa hãy trả cho Sê-sa, những gì của Đức Chúa Trời hãy trả cho Đức Chúa Trời.”
22 Nghe Ngài nói thế, họ rất ngạc nhiên và bỏ đi.
Câu Hỏi Về Sự Sống Lại(C)
23 Cũng trong ngày ấy, những người Sa-đu-sê, là người nói rằng không có sự sống lại, đến hỏi Đức Giê-su: 24 “Thưa Thầy, Môi-se dạy: ‘Nếu ai chết mà không có con thì em người ấy sẽ lấy vợ góa của anh để có con nối dõi cho anh.’ 25 Bây giờ giữa chúng tôi, có bảy anh em nọ. Người anh cả lấy vợ, rồi chết, không có con nên để vợ lại cho em kế. 26 Người thứ hai, thứ ba cho đến người thứ bảy cũng vậy. 27 Sau cùng người đàn bà cũng chết. 28 Vậy vào ngày sống lại, người đàn bà ấy là vợ của ai trong bảy anh em? Vì tất cả đều đã lấy người ấy?”
29 Đức Giê-su đáp: “Các ông đã lầm, không hiểu Kinh Thánh cũng như quyền năng của Đức Chúa Trời. 30 Vì trong ngày sống lại, người ta sẽ không cưới vợ, gả chồng nhưng sẽ như thiên sứ trên trời. 31 Còn về việc sống lại của người chết, các ông chưa đọc lời Đức Chúa Trời phán sao? 32 Ta là Đức Chúa Trời của Áp-ra-ham,[e] Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sác, Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp.[f] Ngài không phải là Đức Chúa Trời của người chết mà là của người sống.”
33 Khi nghe Đức Giê-su giải đáp, đám đông rất kinh ngạc về những điều Ngài dạy dỗ.
Điều Răn Trọng Đại(D)
34 Người Pha-ri-si nghe Đức Giê-su đã làm cho người Sa-đu-sê không trả lời được, họ tụ họp với nhau; 35 một giáo sư Kinh Luật trong nhóm ấy hỏi để thử Ngài: 36 “Thưa Thầy, trong Kinh Luật[g] điều răn nào quan trọng nhất?”
37 Đức Giê-su đáp: “Hãy hết lòng, hết linh hồn, hết lý trí yêu kính Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời ngươi.[h] 38 Đó là điều răn thứ nhất và quan trọng nhất. 39 Còn điều răn thứ hai cũng như thế: ‘Hãy yêu thương người khác[i] như chính mình.’[j] 40 Tất cả Kinh Luật và Kinh Tiên Tri đều dựa vào hai điều răn này.”
Câu Hỏi Về Con Vua Đa-vít(E)
41 Khi những người Pha-ri-si đang tụ họp với nhau, Đức Giê-su hỏi họ: 42 “Các ông nghĩ thế nào về Chúa Cứu Thế? Ngài thuộc dòng dõi của ai?” Họ đáp: “Dòng dõi Vua Đa-vít.”
43 Ngài lại hỏi: “Thế tại sao Vua Đa-vít được Đức Thánh Linh soi dẫn, gọi Ngài là ‘Chúa?’ ” Vua nói:
44 “Chúa phán cùng Chúa tôi:
Hãy ngự bên phải ta,
Cho đến khi ta đặt kẻ thù con
Dưới chân con.[k]
45 Vậy nếu vua Đa-vít gọi Ngài là ‘Chúa’ thì Ngài là con vua ấy sao được?” 46 Không ai đáp được một lời, và từ ngày ấy chẳng ai dám hỏi Ngài nữa.

Historia de los invitados a una boda
(Lc 14:15-24)
22 Jesús comenzó a hablarle a la gente una vez más por medio de historias. Les dijo: 2 «El reino de Dios se puede comparar con un rey que ofreció una boda para su hijo. 3 El rey envió a sus siervos para que les dijeran a los invitados que vinieran, pero los invitados no querían ir. 4 Envió otra vez a otros siervos y les dijo: “Díganles a los invitados que todo está listo, que se mataron las reses y los animales engordados. Todo está preparado. ¡Que vengan a la boda!” 5 Pero los invitados no hicieron caso. Uno se fue a trabajar en su tierra, otro se fue a sus negocios y 6 otros ataron a los siervos del rey, los torturaron y los mataron. 7 El rey se enfureció, envió a sus soldados y ellos mataron a los asesinos y quemaron su ciudad. 8 Entonces el rey les dijo a sus siervos: “La boda está lista, pero los que se invitaron no la merecían. 9 Vayan, pues, a las esquinas de las calles e inviten a todo el que encuentren para que venga”. 10 Los siervos salieron a los caminos. Reunieron a todos los que pudieron encontrar sin importar que fueran buenos o malos y el salón se llenó de invitados.
11 »Cuando el rey vino a verlos, vio a un hombre que no estaba vestido con ropa como para ir a una boda. 12 El rey le dijo: “Amigo, ¿cómo hiciste para entrar aquí sin estar vestido con ropa adecuada para una boda?” Pero el hombre se quedó callado. 13 Entonces el rey les dijo a sus siervos: “Átenlo de pies y manos y échenlo afuera, a la oscuridad. Ahí es donde la gente llorará y crujirá los dientes de dolor”. 14 Porque muchos son invitados pero pocos son escogidos».
El pago de impuestos
(Mr 12:13-17; Lc 20:20-26)
15 Luego los fariseos fueron y se reunieron para planear cómo hacer caer a Jesús en algo que él dijera. 16 Enviaron a sus propios seguidores con algunos herodianos, quienes le dijeron:
—Maestro, sabemos que eres un hombre honesto y enseñas con sinceridad el camino de Dios. No temes decir lo que piensas porque no tratas a la gente según su nivel social, sino que eres imparcial. 17 Por eso dinos qué piensas tú: ¿Está bien que paguemos impuestos al emperador o no?
18 Jesús se dio cuenta de sus malas intenciones y les dijo:
—¡Hipócritas! ¿Por qué tratan de ponerme una trampa? 19 Muéstrenme una moneda con la que pagan impuestos.
Ellos le dieron una moneda de plata.
20 Entonces él les dijo:
—¿De quién es la imagen que está en la moneda y el nombre que está escrito en ella?
21 Ellos dijeron:
—Del emperador.
Entonces Jesús les dijo:
—Den al emperador lo que es del emperador y a Dios lo que es de Dios.
22 Cuando ellos escucharon su respuesta, se asombraron y se alejaron.
Pregunta sobre la resurrección
(Mr 12:18-27; Lc 20:27-40)
23 Ese día, unos saduceos, los que dicen que no hay resurrección, se acercaron a Jesús y le preguntaron:
24 —Maestro, Moisés dijo que si un hombre muere sin haber tenido hijos, su hermano debía casarse con la viuda. De esa manera los hijos que tuvieran serían considerados hijos del hermano fallecido.[a] 25 Una vez hubo siete hermanos que vivían entre nosotros. El primero se casó, pero más tarde murió sin dejar hijos. Su hermano se casó con la viuda. 26 Lo mismo pasó con el segundo, el tercero y con todos los siete hermanos. 27 Después la mujer también murió. 28 Puesto que todos los hermanos se habían casado con ella, el día en que la gente resucite, ¿de quién será esposa la viuda?
29 Jesús les contestó:
—Ustedes están equivocados porque no saben lo que dicen las Escrituras ni conocen el poder de Dios. 30 Cuando la gente resucite, no se casará, sino que todos serán como los ángeles del cielo. 31 Además, con respecto a la resurrección de los muertos, ¿no han leído lo que Dios les dijo a ustedes: 32 (A)“Yo soy el Dios de Abraham, el Dios de Isaac y el Dios de Jacob”[b]? Él no es Dios de muertos, sino de vivos.
33 Al oír la gente esto, quedó admirada de su enseñanza.
El mandamiento más importante
(Mr 12:28-34; Lc 10:25-28)
34 Cuando los fariseos oyeron que Jesús dejó callados a los saduceos, se reunieron. 35 Uno de ellos, que era experto en la ley, quería tenderle una trampa a Jesús y le preguntó:
36 —Maestro, ¿cuál es el mandamiento más importante de la ley?
37 (B)Jesús le dijo:
—“Ama al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, con todo tu ser y con toda tu mente”.[c] 38 Este es el primer mandamiento y el más importante. 39 (C)Hay un segundo mandamiento parecido a este: “Ama a tu semejante como te amas a ti mismo”.[d] 40 Toda la ley y los escritos de los profetas dependen de estos dos mandamientos.
¿De quién es hijo el Mesías?
(Mr 12:35-37; Lc 20:41-44)
41 Estando todavía ahí los fariseos, Jesús les preguntó:
42 —¿Qué piensan ustedes sobre el Mesías? ¿De quién es hijo?
Ellos respondieron:
—De David.
43 Jesús les preguntó:
—Entonces, ¿cómo es que David, inspirado por el Espíritu Santo, le llamaba: “Señor”? Porque David dijo:
44 (D)“El Señor Dios le dijo a mi Señor:
Siéntate a mi derecha,
hasta que ponga a tus enemigos
bajo tu poder[e]”.[f]
45 Entonces si David llama al Mesías “Señor”, ¿cómo puede él ser su hijo?
46 Pero nadie pudo contestarle y desde ese día nadie se atrevió a hacerle más preguntas.

Parábola de la fiesta de bodas
22 Jesús volvió a hablarles en parábolas, y les dijo: 2 «El reino de los cielos es semejante a un rey que hizo una fiesta de bodas para su hijo. 3 Y envió el rey a sus siervos para convocar a los invitados a la fiesta de bodas, pero éstos no quisieron asistir. 4 Volvió el rey a enviar otros siervos, y les dijo: “Díganles a los invitados que ya he preparado el banquete; que he matado mis toros y animales engordados, y que todo está dispuesto. Que vengan a la fiesta.” 5 Pero los invitados no hicieron caso. Uno de ellos se fue a su labranza, otro a sus negocios, 6 y otros más agarraron a los siervos, los maltrataron y los mataron. 7 Cuando el rey supo esto, se enojó; así que envió a sus ejércitos, destruyó a aquellos homicidas, y quemó su ciudad. 8 Entonces dijo a sus siervos: “La fiesta de bodas ya está preparada, pero los que fueron invitados no eran dignos de asistir. 9 Por tanto, vayan a las encrucijadas de los caminos, e inviten a la fiesta de bodas a todos los que encuentren.” 10 Los siervos salieron por los caminos y juntaron a todos los que encontraron, lo mismo malos que buenos, y la fiesta de bodas se llenó de invitados.
11 »Cuando el rey entró para ver a los invitados y se encontró con uno que no estaba vestido para la boda, 12 le dijo: “Amigo, ¿cómo fue que entraste aquí, sin estar vestido para la boda?” Y aquél enmudeció. 13 Entonces el rey dijo a los que servían: “Aten a éste de pies y manos, y échenlo de aquí, a las tinieblas de afuera. ¡Allí habrá llanto y rechinar de dientes!”(A) 14 Porque son muchos los llamados, pero pocos los escogidos.»
La cuestión del tributo(B)
15 Entonces los fariseos se fueron para pensar en cómo atrapar a Jesús en sus propias palabras. 16 Enviaron a sus discípulos, junto con los herodianos, a decirle: «Maestro, sabemos que eres amante de la verdad, y que enseñas con verdad el camino de Dios; sabemos también que no permites que nadie influya en ti ni te dejas llevar por las apariencias humanas. 17 Por tanto, dinos tu parecer. ¿Es lícito pagar tributo al César, o no?» 18 Pero Jesús, que conocía la malicia de ellos, les dijo: «¡Hipócritas! ¿Por qué me tienden trampas? 19 Muéstrenme la moneda del tributo.» Y ellos le mostraron un denario.[a] 20 Entonces él les preguntó: «¿De quién es esta imagen, y esta inscripción?» 21 Le respondieron: «Del César.» Y él les dijo: «Pues bien, den al César lo que es del César, y a Dios lo que es de Dios.» 22 Al oír esto, se quedaron asombrados y se alejaron de él.
La pregunta sobre la resurrección(C)
23 Ese mismo día se le acercaron los saduceos, que dicen que no hay resurrección,(D) y le preguntaron: 24 «Maestro, Moisés dijo que si alguno muere sin tener hijos, su hermano debe casarse con la viuda, para que su hermano tenga descendencia.(E) 25 Ahora bien, entre nosotros se dio el caso de siete hermanos. El primero de ellos se casó y, como murió sin dejar descendencia, dejó su mujer al hermano que le seguía. 26 Lo mismo sucedió con el segundo, y el tercero, hasta el séptimo. 27 Al final, todos murieron, y también la mujer. 28 Así que en la resurrección, ¿esposa de cuál de los siete será esta mujer, puesto que todos estuvieron casados con ella?»
29 Jesús les respondió: «El error de ustedes es que no conocen las Escrituras ni el poder de Dios; 30 porque en la resurrección, ni se casarán ni se darán en casamiento, sino que serán como los ángeles de Dios en el cielo. 31 Pero en cuanto a la resurrección de los muertos, ¿acaso no han leído ustedes lo que Dios les dijo? Porque él dijo: 32 “Yo soy el Dios de Abrahán, el Dios de Isaac y el Dios de Jacob.”(F) Así que Dios no es un Dios de muertos, sino de los que viven.» 33 Cuando la gente escuchaba esto, se admiraba de su enseñanza.
El gran mandamiento(G)
34 Al enterarse los fariseos que Jesús había hecho callar a los saduceos, se reunieron alrededor de él; 35 y uno de ellos, que era intérprete de la ley, para ponerlo a prueba le preguntó:(H) 36 «Maestro, ¿cuál es el gran mandamiento en la ley?» 37 Jesús le respondió: «“Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente.”(I) 38 Éste es el primero y más importante mandamiento. 39 Y el segundo es semejante al primero: “Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo.”(J) 40 De estos dos mandamientos dependen toda la ley y los profetas.»
¿De quién es hijo el Cristo?(K)
41 Mientras los fariseos estaban reunidos, Jesús les preguntó: 42 «¿Qué piensan ustedes del Cristo? ¿De quién es hijo?» Y le respondieron: «De David». 43 Entonces él les dijo: «¿Y cómo es que, en el Espíritu, David lo llama Señor? Pues dijo:
44 »“El Señor le dijo a mi Señor:
Siéntate a mi derecha,
hasta que ponga a tus enemigos
por estrado de tus pies.”(L)
45 ¿Cómo, entonces, puede ser su hijo, si David lo llama Señor?» 46 Nadie podía responderle nada, y desde aquel día nadie se atrevió a hacerle más preguntas.

2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 And last of all the woman died also.
28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
