4 “Sẽ có một ngày cháy như lửa hừng, và mọi kẻ kiêu căng và gian ác sẽ như rơm rạ. Trong ngày đó chúng sẽ cháy rụi đến nỗi không còn sót rễ hay nhánh,” CHÚA Toàn Năng phán vậy.
2 “Nhưng đối với ngươi là những kẻ tôn kính ta, sự nhân từ sẽ chói lói trên ngươi như mặt trời, mang tia sáng chữa bệnh. Ngươi sẽ nhảy nhót như bò con vừa mới được thả ra khỏi chuồng. 3 Rồi ngươi sẽ chà đạp kẻ ác dưới chân như tro trong ngày ta làm điều ấy,” CHÚA Toàn Năng phán vậy.
4 “Hãy nhớ lời giáo huấn của Mô-se, kẻ tôi tớ ta, cùng những luật lệ và qui tắc mà ta trao cho người trên núi Hô-rếp, cho tất cả dân Ít-ra-en.
5 Nhưng ta sẽ sai tiên tri Ê-li đến cùng các ngươi trong ngày lớn và kinh hoàng của CHÚA. 6 Ê-li sẽ làm cho cha mẹ yêu thương con, con yêu cha mẹ. Nếu không ta sẽ đến nguyền rủa đất.”

The Great Day of God
4 “For behold, (A)the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all (B)the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be (C)stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“That will (D)leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But to you who (E)fear My name
The (F)Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
3 (G)You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
4 “Remember the (H)Law of Moses, My servant,
Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,
With (I)the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you (J)Elijah the prophet
(K)Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
6 And (L)he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and (M)strike the earth with (N)a curse.”

4 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
