빌라도 총독이 예수를 심문하다
(마 27:1-2, 11-14; 막 15:1-5; 요 18:28-38)
23 그러고 나서 온 의회가 들고 일어나 예수를 빌라도에게 끌고 갔다. 2 그들은 이렇게 말하며 예수를 고소하기 시작하였다. “이 자가 우리 백성을 잘못된 길로 이끌고 있습니다. 그는 시저[a]에게 세금을 바치지 말라고 가르칩니다. 그리고 자신을 그리스도, 곧 왕이라고 부릅니다. 그래서 우리가 잡아 왔습니다.”
3 빌라도가 예수께 물었다. “당신이 유대 사람의 왕이오?”
예수께서 대답하셨다. “그렇소. 당신이 말한 그대로요.”
4 빌라도는 높은 제사장들과 무리에게 말하였다. “나는 이 사람을 고발할 만한 아무 잘못도 찾지 못하였소.”
5 그러나 그들은 “이 자는 온 유대를 누비며, 그의 가르침으로 백성들을 부추겨 문제를 일으키고 있습니다. 그는 갈릴리에서 시작하여 이곳까지 이르렀습니다.” 하고 우겨댔다.

23 그들이 다 일어나 예수님을 빌라도 앞에 끌고 가서
재판과 선고
2 이렇게 고소하였다. “[a]이 사람은 우리 민족을 그릇된 길로 인도 하고 있습니다. 황제에게 세금을 바치지 못하게 하고 자기가 그리스도 왕이라고 주장합니다.”
3 그래서 빌라도가 예수님께 “네가 유대인의 왕이냐?” 하고 묻자 예수님은 “그렇다” 하고 대답하셨다.
4 빌라도는 대제사장들과 군중을 향하여 “나는 이 사람에게서 아무런 죄도 찾지 못하였소” 하였으나
5 그들은 억지를 부리며 “그는 갈릴리에서부터 이 곳에 이르기까지 온 유대에서 가르치며 백성을 선동하고 있습니다” 하고 외쳐댔다.

23 Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate.(A) 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, “We have found this man subverting our nation.(B) He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar(C) and claims to be Messiah, a king.”(D)
3 So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?”
“You have said so,” Jesus replied.
4 Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”(E)
5 But they insisted, “He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee(F) and has come all the way here.”

2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.
4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
5 And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
