³² He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of ·King David, his ancestor [^Lhis father David]. ³³ He will ·rule [reign] over the ·people [^Lhouse] of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will never end [2 Sam. 7:13, 16; Dan. 7:14, 27].”
