⁵⁵ Her spirit returned, and she stood up at once, and he directed them to give her something to eat.

⁴⁴ The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth and his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”^(A)

²¹ Then he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried out to the Lord, “O Lord my God, let this child’s life come into him again.”^{(A) 22} The Lord listened to the voice of Elijah; the life of the child came into him again, and he revived.^{(B) 23} Elijah took the child, brought him down from the upper chamber into the house, and gave him to his mother; then Elijah said, “See, your son is alive.”

⁴¹ Yet for all their joy they were still disbelieving and wondering, and he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?”^{(A) 42} They gave him a piece of broiled fish,^{[a] 43} and he took it and ate in their presence.^(B)

⁴³ He strictly ordered them that no one should know this and told them to give her something to eat.
