⁵⁴ But taking her by the hand, he called out, “Child, get up!”^(A)

⁴³ When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

³¹ He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up. Then the fever left her, and she began to serve them.

⁴⁰ Peter put all of them outside, and then he knelt down and prayed. He turned to the body and said, “Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up.^(A)

²⁸ Do not be astonished at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice ²⁹ and will come out: those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.^(A)

²¹ Indeed, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.^(A)

⁵¹ When he came to the house, he did not allow anyone to enter with him, except Peter, John, and James and the child’s father and mother.

¹⁴ Then he came forward and touched the bier, and the bearers stopped. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, rise!”^{(A) 15} The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus^[a] gave him to his mother.

²⁷ But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he was able to stand.

²³ He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had put saliva on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Can you see anything?”^(A)
