50 When Jesus heard it, he answered him, ‘Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be saved.’[a] 51 After he came to the house, he let no one enter with him except Peter, John, James,(A) and the child’s father and mother. 52 Everyone was crying(B) and mourning for her.(C) But he said, ‘Stop crying, because she is not dead but asleep.’(D)

50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James,(A) and the child’s father and mother. 52 Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning(B) for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.”(C)
