⁴⁷ When the woman realized that she could not remain hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him and how she had been immediately healed.

³³ But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling, fell down before him, and told him the whole truth.

¹⁵ And his heart goes out all the more to you, as he remembers the obedience of all of you and how you welcomed him with fear and trembling.^(A)

²⁸ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe,

³ And I came to you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.

¹⁵ Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.^{(A) 16} He prostrated himself at Jesus’s^[a] feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan.^(B)

²⁹ The jailer^[a] called for lights, and rushing in, he fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.

⁴ Samuel did what the Lord commanded and came to Bethlehem. The elders of the city came to meet him trembling and said, “Do you come peaceably?”^(A)
