³⁴ When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the country.

¹⁶ And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all^[a] of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. ¹⁷ And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and ^(A)the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.

¹⁴ The herdsmen fled and told it in the city and in the country. And people came to see what it was that had happened.

The Report of the Guard

¹¹ While they were going, behold, some of ^(A)the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place.

³³ The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, especially what had happened to the ^(A)demon-possessed men.
