Jesus Calms a Storm
22 One day he got into a boat with his disciples, and he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side of the lake.” So they put out, 23 and while they were sailing he fell asleep. A windstorm swept down on the lake, and the boat was filling with water, and they were in danger. 24 They went to him and woke him up, shouting, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he woke up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves; they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 He said to them, “Where is your faith?” They were afraid and amazed, and said to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?”

23 Auf der Fahrt aber schlief er ein. Da fiel ein Sturmwind auf den See, und [das Schiff] füllte sich, und sie waren in Gefahr.
24 Da traten sie hinzu, weckten ihn auf und sprachen: Meister, Meister, wir kommen um! Er aber stand auf und befahl dem Wind und den Wasserwogen; und sie legten sich, und es wurde still.
25 Da sprach er zu ihnen: Wo ist euer Glaube? Sie aber fürchteten und verwunderten sich und sprachen zueinander: Wer ist denn dieser, dass er auch den Winden und dem Wasser befiehlt und sie ihm gehorsam sind?

22 Azokban a napokban történt, hogy Jézus a tanítványaival együtt beszállt egy bárkába. „Menjünk át a tó túlsó partjára!” — mondta nekik, és elindultak. 23 Miközben hajóztak, Jézus elaludt. Hirtelen szélvihar csapott le a tóra. A hajó már kezdett megtelni vízzel, és mindannyian veszélyben voltak. 24 A tanítványok ekkor felébresztették Jézust: „Mester! Mester! Végünk van!”
Jézus felkelt, ráparancsolt a szélre és a dühöngő hullámokra, mire azok lecsillapodtak, és nagy csend lett. 25 Majd a tanítványokhoz fordult: „Hol van a hitetek?”

22 Un jour, Jésus monta dans un bateau avec ses disciples et leur dit : Passons de l’autre côté du lac !
Ils gagnèrent le large. 23 Pendant la traversée, Jésus s’assoupit. Soudain, un vent violent se leva sur le lac. L’eau envahit le bateau. La situation devenait périlleuse. 24 Les disciples s’approchèrent de Jésus et le réveillèrent en criant : Maître, Maître, nous sommes perdus !
Il se réveilla et parla sévèrement au vent et aux flots tumultueux : ils s’apaisèrent, et le calme se fit. 25 Alors il dit à ses disciples : Où est donc votre foi ?
Quant à eux, ils étaient saisis de crainte et d’étonnement, et ils se disaient les uns aux autres : Qui est donc cet homme ? Voyez : il commande même aux vents et aux vagues, et il s’en fait obéir !
