^18 (A)Take care then how you hear, ^(B)for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”

⁷ so ^(A)you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

²⁴ And ^(A)let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,

Do Not Grow Weary

^3 (A)Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or ^(B)fainthearted.

²⁶ If anyone thinks he is religious ^(A)and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's ^(B)religion is worthless.

¹¹ Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of ^(A)the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen ^(B)the purpose of the Lord, how ^(C)the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

⁸ Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
