⁴ And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, ^(A)“He is worthy to have you do this for him,

⁴ Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not ^(A)soiled their garments, and they will walk with me ^(B)in white, for they are ^(C)worthy.

⁶ And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, ^(A)do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. ⁷ Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But ^(B)say the word, and let my servant be healed.

^37 (A)Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. ³⁸ And ^(B)whoever does not take his cross and ^(C)follow me is not worthy of me.

¹¹ And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart.

³⁵ but those who are ^(A)considered worthy to attain to ^(B)that age and to the resurrection from the dead ^(C)neither marry ^(D)nor are given in marriage,

¹³ And if the house is ^(A)worthy, let ^(B)your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let ^(C)your peace return to you.
