8 But he knew their thoughts and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Get up and stand in the middle,” and he got up and[a] stood there. 9 And Jesus said to them, “I ask you whether it is permitted on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it?”[b] 10 And after[c] looking around at them all, he said to him, “Stretch out your hand,” and he did, and his hand was restored.
