⁴⁵ A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.^(A)

¹⁷ “‘As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.^{(A) 18} Is it not enough^(B) for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet?^(C) Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? ¹⁹ Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?

¹⁰ The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky^(A) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water^(B)— ¹¹ the name of the star is Wormwood.^[a] A third^(C) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.^(D)
