¹⁹ and the people all tried to touch him,^(A) because power was coming from him and healing them all.^(B)

³⁶ and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak,^(A) and all who touched it were healed.

¹⁰ For he had healed many,^(A) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.^(B)

¹⁵ As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.^{(A) 16} Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.^(B)

⁵⁶ And wherever he went—into villages, towns or countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak,^(A) and all who touched it were healed.

³⁰ At once Jesus realized that power^(A) had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”

⁹ But you are a chosen people,^(A) a royal priesthood,^(B) a holy nation,^(C) God’s special possession,^(D) that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.^(E)

⁴⁵ “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.

When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master,^(A) the people are crowding and pressing against you.”

⁴⁶ But Jesus said, “Someone touched me;^(B) I know that power has gone out from me.”^(C)

Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida

²² They came to Bethsaida,^(A) and some people brought a blind man^(B) and begged Jesus to touch him.

²⁰ Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.^{(A) 21} She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
