Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic^(A)

¹⁷ Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present ^[a]to heal them.

¹⁹ And the whole multitude ^(A)sought to ^(B)touch Him, for ^(C)power went out from Him and healed them all.

⁴⁶ But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived ^(A)power going out from Me.”

Miracles Glorify Christ

¹¹ Now ^(A)God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,

^5 (A)The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and ^(B)the poor have the gospel preached to them.

³⁰ by stretching out Your hand to heal, ^(A)and that signs and wonders may be done ^(B)through the name of ^(C)Your holy Servant Jesus.”

Defilement Comes from Within^(A)

7 Then ^(B)the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem.

³⁰ And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that ^(A)power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”

15 Then ^(B)the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying,

²¹ But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been ^(A)done in God.”
