The Man with an Unclean Spirit
31 He went down to Capernaum, a city in Galilee, and was teaching them on the sabbath. 32 They were astounded at his teaching, because he spoke with authority. 33 In the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, 34 “Let us alone! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God.” 35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down before them, he came out of him without having done him any harm. 36 They were all amazed and kept saying to one another, “What kind of utterance is this? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and out they come!”

32 Und sie waren betroffen über seine Lehre, denn er redete mit Vollmacht.
33 Und in der Synagoge war ein Mensch, der den Geist eines unreinen Dämonen hatte. Und er schrie mit lauter Stimme
34 und sprach: Lass ab! Was haben wir mit dir zu tun, Jesus, du Nazarener? Bist du gekommen, um uns zu verderben? Ich weiß, wer du bist: der Heilige Gottes!
35 Und Jesus befahl ihm und sprach: Verstumme und fahre aus von ihm! Da warf ihn der Dämon mitten unter sie und fuhr aus von ihm und tat ihm keinen Schaden.

31 Jézus ezután Galilea egyik városába, Kapernaumba ment. Itt is tanított szombaton a zsinagógában. 32 Mindenki csodálkozott a tanításán, mert olyan tekintéllyel beszélt, mint aki hatalommal rendelkezik. 33 A zsinagógában az egyik férfi, akiben gonosz szellem lakott, nagy hangon kiabálni kezdett: 34 „Mi közünk hozzád, názáreti Jézus? Azért jöttél, hogy elpusztíts minket? Tudom, ki vagy te: az Isten Szentje!” 35 Jézus azonban ráparancsolt a gonosz szellemre: „Hallgass el! Menj ki belőle!” Ekkor a gonosz szellem mindenki szeme láttára a földre dobta azt az embert, de nem ártott neki, hanem kiment belőle.
36 Ezen mindenki megdöbbent, és ezt kérdezgették egymástól: „Vajon miféle tanítás ez? Erővel és hatalommal parancsol a gonosz szellemeknek, azok engedelmeskednek neki, és kimennek az emberekből!”

31 Il se rendit à Capernaüm, une autre ville de la Galilée. Il y enseignait les jours de sabbat. 32 Ses auditeurs étaient profondément impressionnés par son enseignement, car il parlait avec autorité.
33 Dans la synagogue se trouvait un homme sous l’emprise d’un esprit démoniaque et impur. Il se mit à crier d’une voix puissante : 34 Ah ! Que nous veux-tu, Jésus de Nazareth ? Es-tu venu pour nous détruire[a] ? Je sais qui tu es ! Tu es le Saint envoyé par Dieu !
35 Mais, d’un ton sévère, Jésus lui ordonna : Tais-toi, et sors de cet homme !
Le démon jeta l’homme par terre, au milieu des assistants, et sortit de lui, sans lui faire aucun mal. 36 Tous furent saisis de stupeur ; ils se disaient tous, les uns aux autres : Quelle est cette parole ? Il donne des ordres aux esprits mauvais, avec autorité et puissance, et ils sortent !
