36 And astonishment came over everyone. And they were talking-with one another, saying, “What is this message? Because He commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out!” 37 And the news about Him was going out into every place of the surrounding-region.

38 And having arisen from the synagogue, He entered into the house of Simon. Now the mother-in-law of Simon was being gripped[a] with a high fever. And they asked Him concerning her.

38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her.
