33 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an impure spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, 34 “Go away! What do you want with us,(A) Jesus of Nazareth?(B) Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are(C)—the Holy One of God!”(D)
35 “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly.(E) “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
36 All the people were amazed(F) and said to each other, “What words these are! With authority(G) and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!”

33 In the synagogue there was a man with an unclean demonic spirit who cried out with a loud voice,(A) 34 “Leave us alone! What do you have to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!” (B)
35 But Jesus rebuked him(C) and said, “Be silent and come out of him!”(D) And throwing him down before them, the demon came out of him without hurting him at all.
36 Amazement came over them all, and they were saying to one another, “What is this message? For he commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out!”

35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, [a]“Be quiet, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. 36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”
