Luke 4:11-15

¹² Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’^[b]”^(B)

¹³ When the devil had finished all this tempting,^(C) he left him^(D) until an opportune time.

Jesus Rejected at Nazareth

¹⁴ Jesus returned to Galilee^(E) in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.^{(F) 15} He was teaching in their synagogues,^(G) and everyone praised him.
