^2 [a]while ^(A)Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to ^(B)John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

⁶ as well as ^(A)Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

^24 (A)Then Annas sent Him bound to ^(B)Caiaphas the high priest.

⁸⁰ So ^(A)the child grew and became strong in spirit, and ^(B)was in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel.

Jonah’s Disobedience

1 Now the word of the Lord came to ^(A)Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
