⁵⁰ And ^(A)he led them out as far as ^(B)Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.

¹² Then ^(A)they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.

¹⁷ And ^(A)leaving them, he ^(B)went out of the city to ^(C)Bethany and lodged there.

⁵ And ^(A)those descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office have a commandment in the law to take tithes from the people, that is, from their brothers,^[a] though these also are descended from Abraham. ⁶ But this man ^(B)who does not have his descent from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed ^(C)him who had the promises. ⁷ It is beyond dispute that the inferior is blessed by the superior.

11 ^(A)Now when they drew near to Jerusalem, to ^(B)Bethphage and Bethany, at ^(C)the Mount of Olives, Jesus^[a] sent ^(D)two of his disciples

¹⁶ And ^(A)he took them in his arms and blessed them, ^(B)laying his hands on them.

²³ “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus ^(A)you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them,

^27 (F)“So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”

²⁸ All these are the twelve tribes of Israel. This is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each with the blessing suitable to him.

⁹ Joseph said to his father, ^(A)“They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” And he said, “Bring them to me, please, that ^(B)I may bless them.”
