⁴⁷ and that ^(A)repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed ^(B)in his name ^(C)to all nations, ^(D)beginning from Jerusalem.

^16 (A)The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

¹³ For ^(A)“everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

¹⁴ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him ^(B)of whom they have never heard?^[a] And how are they to hear ^(C)without someone preaching? ¹⁵ And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ^(D)“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

¹¹ For ^(A)the grace of God ^(B)has appeared, bringing salvation ^(C)for all people,

⁵ he saved us, ^(A)not because of works done by us in righteousness, but ^(B)according to his own mercy, by ^(C)the washing of regeneration and ^(D)renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom he ^(E)poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour, ⁷ so that ^(F)being justified by his grace we might become ^(G)heirs ^(H)according to the hope of eternal life.
